The role:

A Lead Data Engineer builds, maintains and supports our data warehouse, delivering data to the whole business in an easy, performant and readable format. They are the core engineers that empower the data behind our AI strategies and business decisions. They will work in a squad along side data scientists and AI engineers allowing for a whole picture on how the data is used. The ideal candidate will have Technical skills across SQL, Database Design (snowflake, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Python.


What will you be doing:

Architect Data Warehouse

Own the architecture and flow of data into our data warehouse through collaboration with the squad, other squads and the wider business. Partner with the product manager to support and deliver a data warehouse that is performant, readable, easy to use and enables the business needs of other teams.

Design, Build and Maintain ELT Solutions

Design, build and maintain systems to consume data from other Internal RedCloud Systems and External Partners and/or Customers.

Deliver Data Insights

Work with colleagues through the business and directly with customers helping them to understand the data we have, build and refine models to help them deliver impact, carry out change or drive additional revenue through our customer base.

Resolve Bugs

Investigate and resolve bugs in our systems.

Handle production Outages / issues

Respond to production outages and issues in our systems.

Estimate Features / Bugs

Estimate features and bugs within estimation sessions alongside the team.

Refine feature requirements

Refine features delivered by product managers.

Carry out code reviews

Carry out code reviews / Pull-request reviews for other engineers, ensuring quality on code.

Keeping pace with Technology

As a senior member of the squad train and learn latest technologies adopted by RedCloud suggesting future libraries and patterns we should be looking at as a business.

Soft Skills

Mentor Members of the Team

Mentor all levels of engineers and new starters in the team, as their RedCloud buddy. Ensure they have all they need to succeed within your team.

Here's the Pay Range: At Zora, we carefully consider a variety of factors to determine compensation for each position, including the role, level, and work. The US hourly pay rate range for this position is:

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $90,200 to $125,000 annually. The Customer Success Manager is a key enterprise-facing leadership position responsible for fostering deep, strategic partnerships with WorkWave's largest customers. This role serves as the principal point of contact and customer advocate, driving customer engagement, ensuring successful adoption of solutions, and maximizing value realization throughout the customer journey. The Customer Success Manager oversees the complete customer experience—from project delivery to strategic growth and retention—while proactively managing risk across the account base and handling the most complex projects and tasks with a high degree of autonomy.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Serve as the principal point of contact for WorkWave's enterprise customers, driving communication and alignment on strategic initiatives.
  • Coordinate and lead large-scale and complex projects within your book of accounts, managing the complete portfolio of services and purchases within the customer base.
  • Lead, manage, or influence both internal WorkWave resources and customer resources to achieve successful outcomes and ensure timely task completion.
  • Proactively identify strategic opportunities to improve the overall customer relationship and journey, aligning with major changes in the customer's business operations.
  • Act as the escalation point of contact for critical customer issues.
  • Monitor, address, and report on potential churn risks and mitigation strategies, demonstrating strong financial acumen regarding account health.
  • Lead the regular cadence of Executive Business Reviews with assigned accounts and senior customer leadership.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales team to identify areas of growth, upsell opportunities ("White Space"), and align on revenue goals.
  • Coach and assist other more junior team members as needed.
  • Collaborate with peers, management, and senior leadership on issues, escalations, and strategic alignment.
  • Up to 10% travel required: there may be times where meetings may fall outside of the core business hours, and you must be open to travel to customer meetings, trade shows or networking events.


  • WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
  • Prior experience in the SaaS, Tech, or Software space is a must.
  • Extensive experience with SaaS and project methodologies.
  • Proven track record of managing and delivering a portfolio of complex projects within a customer base.
  • Solid grasp of customer service and extensive experience developing and managing complex customer relationships.
  • Prior experience working directly with enterprise-level accounts.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to adapt to audiences from technical teams to customer executives.
  • Strong capacity for Complex Problem-Solving, Change Management, and Conflict Resolution.
  • Ability to exercise key decision-making responsibility with limited daily supervision.
  • A "big picture" perspective of customer success and its impact on revenue, retention, and business growth.

  • Experience within the specific industries WorkWave serves (Pest, Lawn & Landscape, Cleaning and Security) is a HUGE plus.
  • Project Management (PMP) or other related certifications.
  • ITIL Certifications.

    Qualifications:

    • College or CEGEP diploma in creative writing, English, journalism, editing, or communication or a comparable amount of experience in a professional setting
    • 1-2 years of experience in content creation and digital marketing 
    • This position involves DAILY interactions with clients or internal and/or external professionals at the national level. Therefore, BILINGUALISM in French and English is required.
