The Team
You’ll be joining our 30-person engineering organization, a collaborative group of passionate, product-minded builders and will report directly to the VP of Engineering. This team is responsible for evolving and adding powerful new capabilities to our mature, successful SaaS platform. The Role
You will lead the charge in creating the next stage of our product's evolution. Your journey will be a creative one: from exploring cutting-edge techniques to shipping our first-ever intelligent features. You will define the AI roadmap, select the best tools for the job, and set the technical foundation for the future AI/ML team that will follow in the path you create.
The Challenges
Charting the Course. You are the founder of our AI practice. The primary challenge—and opportunity—is to turn the blank slate of our AI strategy into a clear, strategic roadmap. You will be the one building this new dimension of our product from first principles.
Building the First Engine. You will build our AI capability from scratch atop a solid foundation. This involves setting the standards, choosing the architecture, and establishing the patterns that will power our intelligent features for years to come.

What We're Looking For
We're looking for a seasoned, pragmatic, and product-minded engineer who thrives in a collaborative environment. You should be an excellent communicator who can articulate complex technical concepts to all audiences.
Proven experience building and shipping AI/ML features in a production environment.
Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) like GPT, Claude, or open-source alternatives.
Familiarity with LLM orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar tools.
Experience with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Chroma) and embedding techniques.
Strong programming skills, particularly in Python, and experience working within an established codebase.
(Bonus) Experience with model fine-tuning and building complex, multi-step AI agents.
