Director, Business Development

POSITION SUMMARY:
Successfully provides clinical research business solutions to clients. Achieves business goals by providing a consistent revenue pipeline which increases revenue and sustains profitability. Proactively seeks out business opportunities aligned with ProScientoâs strategic and tactical objectives in the market place. This role can be based remotely within the US, with a preference for candidates on the East Coast.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops and maintains standard methodology for assessing market opportunities and directs market research identifying potential customers and new drug targets in ProScientoâs specialty areas.
Demonstrates excellence in customer service orientation and high level understanding of business drivers.
Maintains up to date competitive market/scientific knowledge of any relevant metabolic disease area as required.
Identifies and presents industry and market trends for regular discussion with the executive team and relevant departments.
Achieves annual revenue goals while managing the budget of the business development and account management departments.
Works closely with executive team and corporate communications to support the development and improvement of competitive marketing collateral, including but not limited to electronic and print materials supporting client needs and the ProSciento brand (e.g. website, brochures, topics and timing of client-facing communications, and CRI/Metabolic Research Partner related press).
Identifies and develops profitable business relationships with new and existing clients/sponsors. Provides a consultative role with clients, providing education and information.
Identifies and evaluates industry specific conferences and exhibits and provides representation and branding for the organization in offsite business development endeavors.
In collaboration with F&A (Finance & Admin), CRD (Clinical and Research & Development), CRO (Clinical Research Organization), and CRU (Clinical Research Unit) divisions, orchestrates client relations, deal negotiations, proposal presentations, contract development and execution, as well as project delivery oversight for key accounts.
Supervises and directs the maintenance of ProScientoâs CRM database including the aggregation of business/sales performance metrics, the development of BD/sales and account management related key performance indicators (KPI), and quality and process improvements (QPI).
Collaboratively works with assigned account manager(s) to develop overall customer account management processes and plans to maximize opportunities and generate sales activity.
Identifies, captures, organizes, and reports on business development and business performance metrics that are relevant for the advancement and growth of the business.
Able to travel for extended periods (1-2 weeks).Â

What You'll Do Day-to-Day
Customer Support (Your Main Responsibility)
Handle 40-60+ live chat and email tickets daily via Intercom
Resolve crypto transaction issues, deposits/withdrawals, wallet problems, and gaming queries
Troubleshoot technical issues with urgency and clear communication
Document solutions and build out our help center
Maintain 95%+ CSAT and sub-5 minute response times
Community Management
Actively moderate and engage on Discord (our main hub), Reddit, and gaming forums
De-escalate issues, celebrate wins, and keep the vibe positive
Share updates, host events, and create sticky content
Report community sentiment and player feedback to leadership weekly
Growth & Outreach
Post strategically in crypto gaming communities and forums to attract quality players
Build relationships with micro and mid-tier KOLs in the crypto gaming space
Identify partnership opportunities through authentic engagement
Your Schedule
5 days/week, 8-hour shifts (40 hours total)
Flexible shift times based on coverage needs (we'll discuss during interview)

You're a Perfect Fit If You Have:

â Native/fluent English - impeccable grammar, spelling, and communicationâ 2+ years hands-on crypto experience - you actively use wallets, understand gas fees, know the difference between CEX/DEX, and follow crypto cultureâ 1+ year customer support experience with measurable performance metricsâ Intercom proficiency (or Zendesk/Freshdeskâlive chat platforms)â Discord community management - you've actively moderated servers with 500+ membersâ Genuine passion for gaming - you understand player psychology and gaming communities

Your Role
Weâre on the hunt for a Product Designer who lives for clean pixels, thoughtful interactions, and building world-class tools that power the future of betting. This isnât just about external-facing products; this role is about shaping the design of our internal platforms, from our Sportsbook trading systems, to our player account management, to our reg tech, loyalty, and bonus engine tools. Youâll join our talented Product Design team, working closely with engineers, PMs, and other designers to craft intuitive, exciting, and high-impact back-office experiences. From ideation to launch, youâll own the full product design lifecycle, creating tools that empower our teams, scale our operations, and showcase the same design values we hold in our external products.
What Youâll Be Doing
Collaborate within a cross-functional product squad to design and deliver internal platform features end-to-end
Own and evolve the design system across sportsbook, loyalty, reg tech, and account management tooling
Be part of the design team community by collaborating on design projects across all teams and verticals
Blend UX, interaction, and visual design to create seamless internal and external experiences
Seek best-in-class solutions to align with our product-led mission
Work closely with UX Researchers to build products with the userâs voice at the centre
Translate complex operational goals into thoughtful design decisions
