Responsibilities:
Contribute a consistent allocation of time to building out 3D art assets for the game
Address artistic challenges, manage art-team workloads, and ensure art assets are delivered on time, efficiently, and within the technical performance budget.
Lead, manage, and mentor a small team of artists, providing clear direction, constructive feedback, and fostering a positive, creative work environment.
Lead game’s style and art direction
Supervise both 2D, 3D, and render artists.
Develop and maintain art-production pipelines, processes, and documentation to ensure efficient asset creation and implementation.
Review and provide feedback on the team’s work, ensuring assets meet quality standards and align with the artistic vision and technical requirements of the project.
Requirements:
A deep understanding of asset performance metrics and methodologies on the Roblox platform.
High proficiency in Roblox Studio and substantial experience on the Roblox platform.
1-3 years of experience working in a professional studio environment or a mixture of Roblox creator experience that demonstrates equivalent expertise and leadership.
Highly organized and process oriented, needs to be able to think in scale and systems to help level up the Art team.
Nice to Have:
Experience creating art assets under performance constraints while maintaining a clear, visually appealing style.
Experience collaborating with game designers and product teams to understand art request details and flag risks or needs for additional information.
Proven ability to own a game’s art direction and mentor a team of artists toward a consistent execution of that style or direction.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and mentor a diverse team of artists.
Familiarity with project management tools such as Monday.com, Asana, JIRA, or similar applications.
Familiar with or a fan of cars and car games.
