Big Bear Vacations: Owner Retention Specialist

Company:
Location: Remote
Published: 2026-09-01

Headquarters: Big Bear Lake, California, USA URL: https://www.bigbearvacations.com/ OWNER EXPERIENCE SPECIALIST Department: Owner Relations / Owner ExperienceMarket: Puerto Vallarta & Nuevo Vallarta, MexicoReports To: Director of Owner RelationsEmployment Type: ContractorWork Arrangement: 100% Remote / Monday - SaturdayCompensation: USD $1,200 monthlyLanguages: Fluent English and Spanish, written and spoken — required Position Purpose The Owner Experience Specialist is the primary point of contact between Naya Homes and our homeowners in Puerto Vallarta and Nuevo Vallarta. This role is responsible for building and maintaining strong, consistent, and proactive relationships with homeowners in order to support owner satisfaction and retention. Rather than simply reacting to problems after they occur, the Specialist is expected to identify potential concerns early and address them before they become reasons for an owner to consider terminating their relationship with Naya Homes. The Specialist owns three key outcomes: executing the required owner communication cadence under the 33-Touch Relationship Model; providing homeowners with clear visibility into the condition and performance of their properties; and capturing property content that supports marketing efforts, social media, and owner communication. The successful candidate will be highly organized, proactive, customer-focused, and comfortable managing a high volume of daily communication while maintaining accurate documentation and consistent follow-up. Fluency in both English and Spanish, written and spoken, is an indispensable requirement for this position. The Specialist will communicate with homeowners and internal teams in both languages. Because this is a remote contractor position, the primary focus is on achieving established goals, service standards, and KPIs. The schedule may be flexible as needed to ensure objectives are met, while maintaining the required availability and responsiveness for homeowners and the business. Core Responsibilities 1. Owner Relationship Management & Communication Execute 20–25 documented owner interactions per day through calls, email, and text. Maintain 100% completion of required monthly touches for every assigned owner under the 33-Touch Relationship Model. Maintain a balance across the three touch types: Property Visibility: condition updates, inspection findings, photos, and property content. Personal Relationship: relationship-building communication not directly related to a transaction or problem. Informative / Value-Driven: performance, pricing, market conditions, and seasonal outlook. Enter every interaction with a clear purpose and conclude it with a defined next step. Complete scheduled owner check-in calls on the day they are due and rebook any rescheduled calls before the end of the same business day. Maintain clear communication regarding availability, support, and expected response times so owners always know who to contact and when they can expect an answer. Build trust and maintain professional, long-term relationships with homeowners. 2. Property Visibility & Owner Updates Collect property updates from Operations, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and inspection reports. Review condition notes and available photos before communicating with owners to ensure updates are specific and accurate. Translate operational findings into clear, plain-language owner updates, including what was found, what action is being taken, associated costs, and expected resolution timelines. Respond to all open owner conversations regarding work orders. Ensure that no work order is dispatched to an owner's property without documented owner approval. Ensure that every unresolved property issue has a clearly assigned next action and responsible person. Provide owners with meaningful visibility into the work being performed on their property. 3. Escalation & Churn Risk Identification Identify early signs of owner dissatisfaction or potential churn, including declining sentiment, slow or short responses, revenue complaints, recurring property condition issues, questions regarding contract terms, or references to other management companies. Escalate concerns on the same business day. Add applicable owners to the Owner Churn Board and keep records current as situations develop. Confirm ownership of the next action for every escalation and ensure each open case has a clearly assigned responsible person. Communicate potential risks early rather than waiting for issues to escalate. 4. Documentation & CRM Discipline Log every owner interaction in Monday.com on the same day it occurs. Maintain the Owner Churn Board on a daily basis. Schedule all future owner touches and follow-ups before closing out the day. Prepare a clear next-day action list before logging off. Complete a weekly CRM documentation self-audit and correct any gaps identified. Maintain accurate, complete, and timely records of all owner communications. Daily Operating Rhythm Start of Day Log into RingCentral and Monday.com. Review the Owner Engagement Tracker. Identify owners due for required touches. Review notes from inspections, maintenance, turnovers, and operations. Flag owners with open concerns, negative or declining sentiment, or recent performance or condition issues. During the Day Complete scheduled owner check-in calls. Send required emails and text messages. Complete scheduled property-content activities remotely or through available internal resources. Collect and communicate relevant property updates. Respond to open work order conversations. Escalate concerns on the same business day. Maintain consistent follow-up with assigned homeowners. End of Day Ensure all owner interactions are documented in Monday.com. Update the Owner Churn Board. Schedule future touches and follow-ups. Confirm that there are zero undocumented conversations. Prepare the next-day action list. Weekly Close Maintain 100% progress toward required monthly owner touches. Ensure there are no missed follow-ups. Complete the CRM documentation self-audit. Review owner sentiment trends. Identify unresolved owner issues requiring attention. Identify owners requiring proactive outreach during the following week. Performance Standards & KPIs Performance will be measured monthly against the following targets: Daily owner touches: 20–25 per day. Required monthly touch completion: 100%. Documentation accuracy: 95% or higher. Undocumented conversations: Zero. Same-day escalation compliance: 100%. Overdue escalations beyond SLA: Zero. Owner sentiment trend: Stable or improving. Overall KPI attainment: 90% or higher. Retention saves: Tracked and reviewed through the Owner Churn Board. Sustained performance below the established targets may result in a documented coaching plan. Accountability Standards Missed follow-ups are considered a performance issue. Undocumented conversations are considered a performance issue. Dispatching a work order without documented owner approval is considered a performance issue. Early escalation is considered a positive behavior and is recognized accordingly. Proactive communication is an expectation of the role, not an additional benefit or optional activity. The Specialist is expected to take ownership of assigned conversations, follow-ups, and open issues through resolution or appropriate escalation. Qualifications Required Fluent English and Spanish, both written and spoken — indispensable. 2+ years of experience in client-facing account management, hospitality, property management, customer success, or a related field. Demonstrated experience working independently and managing responsibilities in a remote environment. Strong CRM discipline and a proven track record of documenting work consistently without requiring constant follow-up. Comfortable initiating a high volume of outbound calls and handling difficult conversations directly and professionally. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with clients and maintain long-term relationships. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple conversations, follow-ups, and priorities simultaneously. Proactive approach to identifying potential dissatisfaction and escalating concerns appropriately. Ability to shoot and edit short-form vertical video using a phone and tools such as CapCut, Instagram, or equivalent. Strong computer skills and ability to work independently with digital communication, CRM, and collaboration tools. Reliable internet connection and a suitable home-office environment for remote work. Preferred Previous experience in short-term rentals, vacation rentals, hospitality, or property management. Working knowledge of Streamline VRS, Monday.com, or comparable PMS/CRM platforms. Experience producing content for Instagram, TikTok, Airbnb, or other property marketing platforms. Understanding of owner statements, management fees, and short-term rental revenue basics. Familiarity with the Puerto Vallarta / Nuevo Vallarta vacation rental market. Key Attributes The ideal candidate will be: Reliable and consistent: Able to perform repetitive activities consistently and accurately. Calm and professional: Comfortable dealing with frustrated homeowners without becoming defensive or over-promising. Highly organized: Capable of managing 20–25 daily conversations while maintaining complete follow-up. Proactive: Identifies potential issues early and takes action before they escalate. Accountable: Communicates problems honestly and takes ownership of mistakes. Relationship-oriented: Genuinely interested in understanding homeowners, their properties, and their needs. Adaptable: Comfortable working independently in a remote environment and managing priorities without constant supervision. Strong communicator: Able to communicate clearly and professionally in both English and Spanish. First 90 Days Days 1–30 Complete access and onboarding for Monday.com, Streamline, RingCentral, and the Owner Engagement Tracker. Become confident using the required systems and communication tools. Review the assigned owner portfolio. Make introductory contact with assigned homeowners. Complete shadowing and initial training. Days 31–60 Execute the full daily communication volume of 20–25 owner touches. Maintain 100% documentation compliance. Demonstrate consistent follow-up and proactive communication. Begin independently identifying and escalating owner concerns. Days 61–90 Achieve overall KPI attainment of 90% or higher. Own at least one owner retention case from identification through resolution or successful escalation. Demonstrate consistent owner relationship management and CRM discipline. Contribute repeatable content formats or communication practices that can be adopted by other Specialists. This job description outlines the primary duties and standards of the role and is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities. Duties may be adjusted according to business needs. Workload structure, escalation pathways, and coaching practices will be administered in accordance with applicable company policies and requirements.  To apply: https://weworkremotely.com/remote-jobs/big-bear-vacations-owner-retention-specialist

Expel's professional services practice is just getting started, and we're looking for the technical expert who'll deliver the work that gets customers ready to thrive under our co-managed SIEM model. You'll bring hands-on skill to a team that's finding its stride, help it grow, and have a real runway to grow into a lead yourself. Here's the work. Customers come to us with SIEMs that should be surfacing threats but are instead consuming their teams: ingestion costs climbing year over year, engineers buried in alert noise and broken pipelines, and detection blind spots leaving real gaps. You're the engineer who turns that around: authoring and tuning detection content that satisfies real security use cases, closing coverage gaps, migrating detection logic off legacy platforms, and helping optimize what customers ingest and pay for, so their SIEM becomes a force multiplier again, not a management burden. And because this function evolves right alongside our customers and the market, the work won't stand still. Expect it to grow into deeper integrations, automated and AI-assisted tooling, and security strategies our customers need next. What Expel can do for you Give you a ground-floor seat in a new professional services function, where your expertise directly shapes the quality of what we deliver to customers Provide real runway for professional development as the function grows Put you on complex, high-stakes detection and SIEM problems across a wide range of customer environments Let you work across leading SIEM platforms, including Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, and CrowdStrike NG SIEM, plus emerging AI-assisted tooling Give you visibility and partnership across the organization, including Sales, Detection Engineering, our SOC, and Customer Success Accelerate your career by letting you own meaningful outcomes end to end What you can do for Expel Deliver end-to-end professional services engagements, including detection strategy, MITRE ATT&CK assessment, SIEM optimization and integrations, SOAR playbook development, and custom log parsing Develop and validate detection content that satisfies defined security use cases, at onboarding and as environments evolve, with strong coverage and clean fidelity Optimize SIEM performance and cost by tuning detections for fidelity, reducing alert noise, and improving ingestion efficiency Contribute to Expel's professional services proprietary detection library, continuously improving our detection strategy and capability Translate detection logic between SIEM platforms and write custom parsers for standard and non-standard log sources, using AI-assisted tools where they help and validating the outputs Partner with Detection Engineering and the SOC to hand off environments ready for ongoing co-managed operations, and work with SOC analysts to sharpen the fidelity and actionability of rules and alerts Track the evolving threat landscape and turn it into new detection development Help the function grow by contributing repeatable processes, templates, and tooling that raise the quality and consistency of what we deliver What you should bring to Expel Hands-on SIEM expertise across Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, and/or CrowdStrike NG SIEM, including architecture, data ingestion, and detection rule development 3+ years with detection and response tooling, particularly SIEM, SOAR, and EDR 3+ years writing, deploying, and tuning custom detections from research or investigative work against common datasets (Windows Event Logs, auditd, CloudTrail, and similar) SIEM migration experience translating detection logic between platforms and re-pointing log sources Working knowledge of attacker tactics and techniques and the MITRE ATT&CK framework Solid fundamentals across Windows, macOS, and Linux, networking basics (TCP/IP, OSI), and working knowledge of cloud IAM models and platforms Basic proficiency with Python, Go, or similar, and comfort using Git/GitHub for version control of detection content, scripts, and templates Curiosity, strong ownership, and the appetite for growth A willingness to travel up to 20% Bonus points for One or more SIEM or vendor certifications (e.g., Splunk Core Certified Power User or Enterprise Security Certified Admin, Microsoft SC-200, CrowdStrike CCFA/CCFR) Experience authoring platform-agnostic detections with Sigma and converting rules across SIEM backends Familiarity with detection-as-code practices, including version-controlled rules, testing, and CI/CD for detection content Industry security certifications such as GIAC (e.g., GCDA, GCIA), Security+, or similar A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Security Additional notes This role is remote within the United States. The base salary range for this role is between $111,900 USD and $162,300 USD + bonus eligibility and equity. While the full salary band reflects our long-term compensation framework, we're primarily targeting candidates between $120,000 and $140,000 based on experience, skills, and market data. We believe in paying transparently and equitably. Your salary will ultimately be based on factors such as your experience, skills, team equity, and market data. You'll also be eligible for unlimited PTO (which we model and encourage), work location flexibility, up to 24 weeks of parental leave, and really excellent health benefits. We're only hiring those authorized to work in the United States. We do not currently sponsor immigration visas. We're an Equal Opportunity Employer: You'll receive consideration for employment without regard to race, sex, color, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or on the basis of disability. We'll ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment. ZoomInfo Technologies LLC: Head of Data Partnership

Company:
Location: Remote
Published: 2026-09-01

Headquarters: Remote ZoomInfo is where careers accelerate. We move fast, think boldly, and empower you to do the best work of your life. You’ll be surrounded by teammates who care deeply, challenge each other, and celebrate wins. With tools that amplify your impact and a culture that backs your ambition, you won’t just contribute. You’ll make things happen–fast.Head of Data Partnerships Location: Waltham, MA | Vancouver, WA | Bethesda, MD | Remote (US) (Hybrid) ZoomInfo is seeking a Head of Data Partnerships to own how we grow our data advantage through external relationships. Our advantage is built on what we acquire as much as what we build - and this role owns the full range of ways we acquire: what we license, what we co-develop, what we trade for, what we sell alongside, and what we should own outright. Most of this is buying data, and buying it well. You will run a portfolio of hundreds of suppliers spanning company, contact, identity, and signal data across global markets - deciding which partners we invest in, which we consolidate, and which we walk away from, accountable for the coverage, accuracy, and unit economics of the whole thing. But the highest-value work is not a purchase order. It is the first-look arrangement that keeps a category away from a competitor. The revenue share that turns a cost line into a business. The co-sell motion that puts a partner's sellers in front of our buyers, and ours in front of theirs. The acquisition thesis that says this supply is too strategic to rent. You will identify those opportunities, structure them, and drive them to signature.   You are equally comfortable interrogating an evaluation result and negotiating a term sheet — you design the proof that tells us whether a partner's data is actually net-new, build the business case, and run the commercial conversation to close. Success here is not deals signed. It is data availability delivered and value created: measurable improvements in coverage and quality that customers feel, revenue from partnerships that earn it, and a cost per record that gets better every year. What You'll Do (Essential Functions) Own the multi-year data supply and partnership strategy - maintain a live view of the global data market by domain and geography. Know who is emerging, who is consolidating, and where our next structural advantage comes from. Bring a point of view, not a vendor list. Make the build-buy-partner-acquire call - decide when ZoomInfo should license a source, co-develop it, structure an exclusive, build the capability internally, or pursue it as an acquisition. Defend that recommendation to executive leadership. Build and run co-sell and joint GTM motions with strategic partners, in partnership with Sales, Product Marketing, and Alliances - from the commercial construct through enablement and pipeline accountability. Source and shape acquisition opportunities - identify suppliers where owning the asset beats renting it, develop the thesis, and partner with Corporate Development through diligence and integration planning. Own the supplier portfolio end-to-end and its economics - sourcing, evaluation, onboarding, renewal, and rationalization; total portfolio cost, cost per usable record, and consolidation targets. Kill or renegotiate what is not earning its place. Design and run rigorous evaluations — define the test, measure net-new lift and accuracy against our own corpus, and produce a recommendation with numbers behind it. A partner's coverage claims are a hypothesis, not evidence. Represent ZoomInfo to partner executives - build the senior relationships that make us the first call when a partner has something worth bringing. Move deals through Legal, Privacy, Security, and Procurement without losing momentum, and ensure every source we ingest is compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and regional data protection requirements. Own the outcome after signature - partner with product and data teams through ingestion, matching, and publishing; keep the portfolio's single source of truth current; measure each partnership's impact and retire the ones that can't show it. What You Bring Required Qualifications 8+ years in data partnerships, strategic partnerships, business development, or data acquisition, with direct ownership of external relationships and their commercial outcomes Proven track record negotiating and closing third-party data agreements, including non-standard constructs — revenue share, reciprocal exchange, co-development, exclusivity, or joint go-to-market Demonstrated strategic judgment — has built a supply or partnership strategy for a category, not just executed against a requirements list Hands-on analytical ability — can independently interrogate an evaluation result, challenge a methodology, and tell the difference between a real coverage gain and a well-presented one Deep understanding of B2B data domains - firmographics, contact, identity, intent, technographics - how quality is measured (coverage, accuracy, freshness, match rate), and experience designing and defending structured evaluations Working fluency with data privacy frameworks (GDPR, CCPA) and how they constrain data sourcing, usage, and redistribution Commercial ownership - has carried a spend envelope or partnership P&L and made hard consolidation or termination calls Executive presence and cross-functional leadership - credible with a CDO or CFO audience and with partner executives; drives outcomes across product, engineering, sales, legal, and procurement without formal authority; writes a business case an executive will sign and a finding an engineer will trust Preferred Qualifications Background in business development, corporate strategy, or M&A - including sourcing, diligence, or integration of a data asset Has run a co-sell or alliance motion with revenue accountability, not just a partnership agreement Experience acquiring global data - regional suppliers, public business registries, non-US contact and company sources - and the compliance nuances that come with them Familiarity with multi-source enrichment economics (waterfalls, per-match pricing) and the identity data ecosystem Has built a partnership or vendor management operating system, not just inherited one Who Thrives Here You think in multi-year positions, not in deals. You can hold two things at once - the strategic case for why a partnership matters to where we're going, and the hard-nosed read on whether the data is actually any good. When a partner tells you they have 40 million records you don't yet have, your instinct is to design the test that proves or disproves it, not to build a slide about it.   You are comfortable telling a partner no, comfortable telling your own leadership that a deal we already signed isn't working, and just as comfortable walking into a partner's executive team and proposing something neither company has done before. You would rather run one partnership all the way to measurable impact than manage twenty relationships that produce meetings.   #LI-Hybrid #LI-RemoteActual compensation offered will be based on factors such as the candidate’s work location, qualifications, skills, experience and/or training.
