Tech Lead

Company: Recare Deutschland GmbH
Location: Germany, France, Portugal, Poland, Italy, Spain, Austria
Category: Software Development
Published: 2025-08-27

About us:

As one of Germany's leading HealthTech companies, we are transforming discharge management by making it technology-driven, patient-centered, and free of bureaucracy. In addition to our market-leading SaaS platform, we are developing AI solutions that radically simplify processes in clinics and for aftercare providers, relieve the burden on healthcare professionals, and put the focus back on patients. We currently connect over two-thirds of all German hospitals with more than 650 rehabilitation clinics, and over 25,000 care and homecare providers. With around 70 employees, we are continuing to grow and are looking for people with the right attitude who want to improve the healthcare system alongside us.

An example:

When patients need to go to a rehabilitation clinic after a hospital stay, hospital staff currently need to find an available rehabilitation clinic offering the services that the patient needs (generally done over the phone or via fax (yes, fax…).

With our solution, hospital staff simply need to import all the relevant information in our platform using a software integration. They can then communicate in a secure way (end-to-end encryption) with the patient's after care providers. A search is started to find a relevant spot in our network of rehabilitation clinics. Patient data and files are transparently and securely exchanged with the relevant parties along the way.
This is just an example for rehabilitation, but we also cover care, transport, medical supplies and hospital transfers. Our product combines a SaaS and a marketplace to automate time-intensive tasks, and let hospital staff focus on their patients rather than processes.

And now, in the next step, we’re going far beyond our core business, aiming to eliminate bureaucracy and media in hospitals with a whole portfolio of AI products.

Curious for a look behind the scenes? Discover what we're working on – here’s the video from the Recare AI Summit:

About Recare:

  • We’re a team of about 70 employees from a broad range of nations.

  • The tech team is currently composed of 13 devs - we prefer to hire the right people rather than a lot of people.

  • Our financing is secured.

What you'll work on:

Aftercare provider operations are becoming increasingly complex and data-driven. Bringing change is very hard — but we're not afraid :). You'll build features that help care facilities, rehabilitation centers, and healthcare chains better allocate resources, unlock actionable insights from patient data, and integrate Recare seamlessly into their internal systems.

Our ambitious roadmap focuses on expanding our marketplace's receiver side with enhanced analytics tools, B2C platforms connecting providers directly with patients, expanded API integrations, and much more.

Secure communication is at our core—our solution provides end-to-end encryption for healthcare professionals to safely exchange messages and patient data through both our applications and external API integrations.

We have several products in development that we are confident will significantly impact the German healthcare system. And yes, we’re excited by the new opportunities AI unlocks for building powerful features for our customers. If this interests you, let's schedule a video call to discuss!

This is what you can expect from us as a Tech Lead:

  • Work with Purpose - Your work has a real impact on patients and healthcare professionals in the medical field.

  • Corporate Culture - We embrace structures that foster high performance and strong team dynamics. Our interactions are characterized by mutual respect, loyalty, and recognition. We work together towards common goals and expect the same from you.

  • Flexibility - Would you like to pick up your child from daycare? Do you enjoy exercising during lunchtime? We support you in achieving that balance. Besides flexible working hours, as a remote-first company we offer the flexibility to work 100% remotely from Germany, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Poland, France and Austria.

  • Edenred card - which you can use in the way that suits you best.

  • Extra Day Off on Your Birthday - So you can celebrate with your loved ones.

Your responsibilities as Tech Lead will include:

  • Technical Leadership: Drive architecture decisions, code quality, and engineering best practices.

  • Team Leadership: Mentor and support existing and new engineers through regular feedback and guidance.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product and design to translate business needs into technical solutions

  • Project Delivery: Own the technical roadmap for your team and ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard

What technologies you’ll work with as Tech Lead:

  • Golang:  Our entire backend codebase is in Golang (and we love it!). It’s easy to learn, it’s strongly typed, the internal tooling is fantastic and it compiles fast.

  • Postgres: We use postgres for our databases and GORM to interface with it.

  • Typescript: Our entire frontend codebase is in Typescript. We believe a strongly typed codebase solves a lot of problems preemptively. We also use Eslint and Prettier so most of the coding guidelines are automated.

  • React: Our apps are client-side rendered SPAs with React, and we work almost exclusively with hooks.

  • Apollo  a GraphQL proxy is used to handle the data fetching and caching on the client-side (Backend is still a REST API).

  • Material-ui and styled-components. Our designers use Figma.

  • CI/devops: We use both CircleCI and GithubActions to run our unit and integration tests, visual regression tests (in-house), and automated code analysis (SonarCloud). They’re also used to deploy to our various environments.

We also dedicate some of our time to work on non "business" tasks, it means for instance to:

  • Continuously optimise the frontend/backend code to offer the best user experience.

  • Analyze and optimise database slowdowns and issues.

  • Automate the internationalisation processes (we want to make our lives easier!).

  • Build additional tooling (such as a visual regression tool to detect automatic changes in our product).

  • Migrate tools (such as Storybook to Vite for faster local development).

Our philosophy is that developers are owners of the code they write until it gets to production. We rely a lot on automated tests to ensure everything stays stable - the rule is that code could be deployed at any time - manual QA is only involved in new feature validation.

What you will need to succeed as a Tech Lead:

  • We are looking for experienced developers. You have a CS degree or equivalent knowledge, and you have been coding full time professionally for 6+ years.

  • We're looking for someone with production experience with React and/or Golang (or other C-family languages). You should be able to discuss some common performance pitfalls of either and suggest possible workarounds.

  • You have proven experience (1-2+ years) managing a team of developers and you, as a tech lead, are expected to support and actively interact with the different members and foster a positive growth environment.

  • You should highly value empathy and have pride in your ability to contribute to a happy, engaged and respectful work environment.

  • You should be comfortable and excited to dive into more advanced topics, e.g. build pipelines, bundle analysis, caching mechanisms, rendering approaches, database optimisation, etc.

  • Since we're a small team, we want to automate a lot. You should have experience with CI and testing frameworks.

  • You want to become a technical owner of a part of our code base - we need people who are looking for responsibilities.

  • You are proactive and proficient in the entire product development flow: asking questions, clarifying specs, raising doubts and engaging in meetings.

  • Product and Engineering work in a fully remote setup where writing skills are more and more important, so written questions/requirements/docs are very valuable.

We’re looking forward to hearing from you!

    Senior Cloud Platform Engineer

    Company: SADA India
    Location: India
    Category: Software Development
    Published: 2025-08-26

Join SADA, An Insight company as a Senior Cloud platform Engineer !

    Your Mission

As a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer, you will work collaboratively to deliver high quality infrastructure projects on Google Cloud Platform for our cloud and hybrid-cloud customers. You will have an opportunity to work on real-world problems facing our customers in the field. Engagements vary from being purely consultative to requiring heavy hands-on work, and cover a range of domain areas, such as workload migrations from on-premises or other Clouds to GCP, standing up production ready  infrastructure on GCP, building hybrid-cloud solutions leveraging infrastructure-as-code automation, and developing fully automated CI/CD pipelines. Moreover, you will be someone who will drive thought leadership, delivering best practice recommendations for internal and external solutions.

You possess a diverse background in areas such as architecture design, distributed systems, infrastructure migration, and deployment strategies. To be successful, one must know how to navigate ambiguity, have extensive experience working with cloud technologies, have technical depth, and enjoy working with customers.

    In this role, you will:

    • Be expected to tackle all technical challenges on whole projects and to mentor less experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineers. You should be able to work independently, but should be a major participant in team reviews.

    • Be recognized as having technical mastery within the practice with an established reputation with Google and our customers.

    • Have demonstrable experience with public facing activities such as blogs, presentations, webinars, and OSS contributions.

    • Ensure the best architecture and engineering approach is applied. You will be expected to repeatedly deliver complex projects, and will be the owner of the complete customer outcome, including complex technical components of the engagement.

    • Participate in early-stage opportunity qualification calls, as well as lead client-facing technical discussions for established projects.

    Pathway to Success

Our singular goal is to provide customers with the best possible experience in migrating, building, modernizing, and operationalizing their systems in Google Cloud Platform.

Your success starts by positively impacting the direction of a dynamic practice with vision and passion. You will be measured quarterly by the breadth, magnitude, and quality of your contributions, your ability to estimate accurately, customer feedback at the close of projects, how well you collaborate with your peers, and the consultative polish you bring to customer interactions.

As you continue to execute successfully, we will build a customized development plan together that leads you through the engineering or management growth tracks.

    Expectations

Required Travel: 10% travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events.

Customer Facing: You will interact with customers on a regular basis, sometimes daily, other times weekly/bi-weekly. Common touch points occur when qualifying potential opportunities, at project kickoff, throughout the engagement as progress is communicated, and at project close. You can expect to interact with a range of customer stakeholders, including engineers, technical project managers, and executives.

Onboarding/Training - The first several weeks of onboarding are dedicated to learning and will encompass learning materials/assignments and compliance training, as well as meetings with relevant individuals. Details of the timeline are shared closer to the start date.

    Job Requirements

    Required Credentials

    • Google Cloud Architect Certified or able to complete within the first 45 days of employment.

    • A secondary Google Cloud certification in any other specialization.

    • Expert or Professional level certifications in either or both AWS and Azure.

    Required Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of relevant experience in deploying, migrating, configuring and managing applications on any of the public clouds.

    • Technical mastery of networking, VPNs, compute infrastructure (servers, databases, firewalls, load balancers, etc), and architecting/developing/maintaining production-grade systems in virtualized environments.

    • Applied experience migrating complex, multi-tiered workloads from on-prem to the cloud, including provisioning the target infrastructure and executing cutover plans that minimize system downtime.

    • Applied experience delivering immutable infrastructure-as-code solutions using tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Salt, and Packer.

    • Applied experience delivering continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines, utilizing techniques like blue/green and canary deployments, with tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, TravisCI, and Spinnaker.

    • Working knowledge of systems monitoring, capacity planning, and performance tuning.

    • Experience writing software in one or more languages such as Go and Python

     Useful Qualifications

    • Knowledge and understanding of industry trends and new technologies and the ability to apply trends to architectural needs.

    • Proven experience and understanding of architecture principles across infrastructure platforms, security, data, integration, and application layers.

    • Experience working with containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, etc)

    • Experience being an administrator on a variety of Linux distributions.

    • Experience with information security practices and procedures

    • Strong working knowledge of VMware, KVM, Xen, Hyper-V, or other virtualization software
