About the role
As a UX Engineer you will be in one of our scrum teams, building new UI components for a new design system to be used across the Dotdigital estate. You’ll work alongside Product Managers, Designers, QA Engineers, and many other talented people.
We ship regularly, with automated deployments at the click of a button, and when you join us, we want you to ship code to production in your first sprint. Job Summary
We’re looking for a versatile Designer to join Unreal’s small but mighty Brand & Creative Development team. In this role, you’ll spend the majority of your time executing high-craft design work across both digital and print channels, with the remaining time dedicated to ideating and building out our brand expression. You’ll partner closely with our Lead Art Director to produce assets for everything from evergreen brand content to seasonal campaigns, event activations, merch, and collateral, and will collaborate with team members across Unreal’s Commercial team. Your work will help strengthen and expand our design systems while ensuring every touchpoint reflects Unreal’s bold, unforgettable brand.
The ideal candidate is a technically excellent designer with 4–6 years of experience, ideally including 2+ years on the brand side in CPG. You thrive in collaborative environments, adapt quickly, and bring equal enthusiasm for all types of projects. You understand the fundamentals of brand building beyond campaigns, and are comfortable juggling multiple deliverables with precision and attention to detail. Mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite and Figma is required, and motion design, event/activation design, or art direction skills are a plus. Who You Are
The base compensation range for this position is between $130K - $140K annually. This position is also eligible for a 15% bonus. The salary range listed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. Individual compensation is determined by additional factors, including role-related experience and relevant education and certifications. Bonus payout is pro-rated to start date. Employees must be employed by September 30 of the calendar year to be eligible for bonus for that calendar year.
