Lithic is the modern card issuing and processing platform empowering ambitious financial companies to build the future of payments.
Our infrastructure powers card programs for 100+ innovative clients, from fintechs reimagining credit and digital banking to platforms transforming disbursements and spend management. Companies like Mercury, Flex, and Novo rely on Lithic's developer-friendly APIs, direct network connections, and flawless reconciliation to launch and scale card programs in weeks, not years.
We're building a future where access to better financial products materially improves people's lives, free from the constraints of 30-year-old mainframes and legacy processors. We're proud to be backed by world-class investors who share that vision, including Bessemer Venture Partners, Index Ventures, Spark Capital, Stripes, and Mastercard, along with many others.
We're a team of 170+ across 26 states and 7 countries, headquartered in New York City. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer for the Product Platform team, which owns the foundational layer of our API that all other Lithic products build on top. The team’s mission is to make Lithic's API the best in fintech — reliable, consistent, and a joy to integrate with. This includes API Gateway, Events Platform, API key management and authorization, audit logging, or API norms and versioning strategy.
What you'll do:
Write reliable, secure, and scalable code for Lithic's product platform with minimal tech debt
Improve the reliability of systems in team’s scope and participate in the team on-call rotation
Own projects from planning to launch, spanning areas like API key management, reliability, audit logging, or search, keeping stakeholders informed and aligned along the way
Lead efforts to improve systems and processes within the team
What you'll bring:
4+ years building production backend systems, ideally including public-facing APIs at scale
Experience in or desire to learn Rust; ability to understand Lithic’s system written in other programming languages (Python, Java)
Interest and experience in leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity
Ability to navigate ambiguity, align diverse perspectives, and drive toward practical solutions
Experience with API design fundamentals and product thinking: versioning, backward compatibility, schema-driven development, and weighing tradeoffs from the customer's perspective
Comfort with designing systems from scratch and owning the product development process end-to-end
Strong written communication skills and experience working in a remote, async-first team that’s spread across time zones
The annual US salary range for this role is $160,000 to $200,000 plus equity. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Lithic and will be narrowed during the interview process based on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
This is a remote position. However, candidates must be located in the United States, Canada (Ontario or British Columbia), Netherlands, Poland, or Czech Republic. We do not offer visa sponsorship or assistance.

About the team
We're standing up a new function at Alloy: Forward Deployed Engineering. Our largest enterprise customers need a trusted technical partner with a strong point of view on how Alloy fits into their tech stack and fraud strategy. As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you'll be that partner - embedded with our most strategic accounts and owning the technical outcome end-to-end, with each deployment becoming the foundation for the next.
You'll be one of the first two engineers on this founding team. This is a software engineering role through and through - based within our Engineering org, with a scope that spans software, product, and solutions engineering. You won't just join this function - you'll define how it works.
Alloy operates in a hybrid-work environment. We look to foster collaboration and community by having our local employees onsite three days a week.
What you'll be doing
Architect and tune customer and channel-partner deployments end-to-end — API integrations, third-party data integrations, SDKs, and latency constraints.
Write production code across our stack: TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6/React), Python (Django), Node.js, PostgreSQL, OpenSearch, and AWS.
Serve as Alloy's credible technical voice with customer engineering leadership, making architectural calls in real time.
Own the engineering track of QBRs for your accounts and serve in their on-call escalation path.
Turn your work into reusable platform primitives and docs, so each deployment makes the next one faster.
Who we’re looking for
5+ years of hands-on experience developing production-ready software, with a proven track record of delivering robust, scalable solutions.
Experience in a customer-facing technical role, Forward Deployed Engineering, solutions engineering with deep technical ownership, or similar - where you were accountable to an external stakeholder, not just an internal roadmap.
Strong backend and API fluency, with the ability to read and write production code across services you don't own.
Sound architectural judgment under ambiguity: you can make and defend technical decisions in the room, with a customer watching.
A genuine pull toward customer-facing work - you find energy in solving a real customer's real problem, alongside their engineers.
A clear technical communicator who can explain a complex integration tradeoff to a bank's VP of Engineering and to an Alloy PM in the same afternoon.
Ability to travel on occasion to our NYC office, as well as client offices in the US.
Nice to have:
Experience at a company with a strong Forward Deployed Engineering culture (Palantir, Scale AI, Ramp, Plaid, Stripe, etc.).
Familiarity with identity, fraud, KYC/KYB, or financial services infrastructure.
Experience with SDK development or embedded front-end integrations.
We're a lean team, so your impact will be felt immediately, and opportunities will grow as the company scales up. If this all sounds like a good fit for you, why not join us?

Alloy: Client Enablement Lead
Company: Location: Remote Published: 2026-10-18
Headquarters: New York City, Remote
Alloy is where you belong!
Alloy is the AI-powered identity and fraud prevention platform that accelerates onboarding, stops fraud, and scales compliance across the customer lifecycle so financial organizations can grow without limits. More than 900 of the world's leading financial institutions and fintechs trust Alloy for smarter risk management that drives growth.Through our values: Be Bold, Go Fast, Collaborate, and Celebrate Our Differences, we are creating a workplace where you can grow, thrive, and belong. See how we’ve been continuously recognized and named one of Inc. Magazine’s Best Workplaces, Forbes America’s Best Startup Employers, Best Fintech to Work for by American Banker, year after year.Check out our investors and read more about us here.
About the team
Alloy’s platform is complex and managed with high-touch support from Alloy’s Technical Solutions team. Customers that would like to ‘self-serve’ often struggle to build a clear mental model of how Alloy works and why, falling back to Alloy’s support teams to complete even simple tasks. Today, enablement is spread across multiple repositories and handled one-to-one by delivery teams, with inconsistent results. Only a handful of sophisticated and adventurous clients currently achieve a moderate amount of self-sufficiency.
This leader owns customer enablement across Alloy. This is not a technical writing role. It is a role that builds and runs the program behind enablement: capturing knowledge continuously, packaging it for the right audience at the right moment, running hands-on customer training sessions, and measuring what works.
The Customer Enablement Lead will report to the VP of Product Design. From within the Product team they will help fill gaps and challenging areas of the product while creating a powerful feedback loop between customers and designers to decrease those gaps and challenges over time. The Enablement Lead will form strong cross-functional connections with the Support, Delivery, Technical Success, Product Marketing, and Product Operations teams to ensure customers have a seamless and supported experience as they go live and as we release new features.
Alloy operates in a hybrid-work environment. We look to foster collaboration and community by having our local employees onsite three days a week. This role is open to both local and remote candidates in the US.
What you'll own
The initial scope of work for this role will include:
Close Critical Gaps
Audit the current state. Evaluate and consolidate existing resources (API docs, help articles, the learning center, in-product help, and delivery-built guides). Work with cross-functional partners to create any missing documentation and “Customer 101” program material.
Outcome: Our AI support bot can answer essentially any customer question. Our delivery teams can pull together the content they need to run tailored training sessions with their customers.
Deliver the Alloy New Customer Enablement Program
Focus on new Alloy customers and deliver scalable, deployable training and content for repeatable implementations. Structure material so clients can self-pace from foundational to advanced. Target key user personas so they learn the features critical to their respective day-to-day.
Outcome: Clients understand and use what they bought, and are aware of what else Alloy offers. Additionally they know where to look for additional guidance via documentation, AI support chat, and other escalation channels.
Build the Product Release Enablement Program
When Alloy builds a material new feature or capability, map what each client segment and persona needs to know, when, and why, from pre-sales through go-live and ongoing use, and make it part of how products are sold, launched, and delivered.
Outcome: a shared view of our friction points and what areas currently drag the most on our bottom line.
Facilitate the Feedback Loop
Collect feedback after every release, rollout, and training. Give Product, Design, and Delivery a shared view of where clients get stuck, and drive alignment on whether each gap is best solved by product, technical solutions, or enablement, including interim fixes.
Outcome: Product, Design, and Delivery share one view of enablement gaps and who owns them. The design team gets critical insight continuously, addressing customer confusion directly in the product, helping reduce the surface area for documentation over time.
Milestones
30 Days
Onboarding into Alloy, learning the product yourself, existing resource audit, gap analysis, start filling documentation gaps with SME and tooling support, and deliver a consolidation plan.
60 Days
Initial enablement ‘package’ in beta for first client feedback via early hands-on training sessions.
90 days
Initial enablement funnel for core segments deployed and documentation gap filling has demonstrated a measurable increase in AI support ticket resolution. Iteration on the enablement package incorporating early feedback.
Six Months
Enablement package is ‘production ready’ and universally rolled out (client-facing teams are ready to deliver training using the material). Feedback loop with product and design solidified. The product release enablement funnel is operational as part of new feature releases. Seeing measurable improvements in some areas of self-service and legacy support ticket theme avoidance.
Who we’re looking for
Must-haves:
7+ years in customer education, enablement, or training, including building a customer enablement program from the ground up.
Experience enabling customers on a technical, API-driven B2B SaaS product, with the depth to learn complex workflows and teach them clearly.
Strong live facilitation. You've run hands-on training sessions with customers and adapted them in the room.
A track record of tying enablement to measurable outcomes such as ticket deflection, adoption, or time to value.
Experience influencing Product, Support, Delivery, and Marketing partners without direct authority.
The judgment to tell when a customer problem needs content, a training, or a product fix, and the writing skills to make the case.
Nice-to-haves:
Background in fintech, identity verification, fraud, or compliance.
Experience structuring knowledge bases for AI support agents or chatbots.
Hands-on experience with LMS, documentation, or in-product guidance tools.
Experience working inside a Product or Design organization.
Alloy is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Below is the anticipated starting base compensation range for this role; however, pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, in-demand skills, relevant experience, and/or geography. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is also eligible for equity awards in the form of stock options (ISOs) as well as a competitive total benefits package. Your recruiter will be happy to walk you through the details and what compensation could look like for you specifically!
This position has a salary range of $180,000 to $220,000.
Benefits and Perks
Unlimited PTO and flexible work policy
Employee stock options
Medical, dental, vision plans with HSA (monthly employer contribution) and FSA options
401k with 100% match up to 4% of annual employee compensation
Eligible new parents receive 16 weeks of paid parental leave
Home office stipend for new employees
Annual Learning & Development annual stipend
Well-being benefits include access to ClassPass, OneMedical, UrbanSitter, and Spring Health
Hybrid work environment: Local employees are expected to work Tuesdays through Thursdays from our HQ in Union Square, Manhattan. Tasty lunches catered from a variety of local restaurants and frequent employee-organized cultural events contribute to our positive office energy. On Monday/Friday most employees Zoom into work from home while some take advantage of the quieter office.

Airbnb: Engineering Manager, Payments
Company: Location: Remote Published: 2026-10-18
Headquarters: Remote - USA
Airbnb was born in 2007 when two hosts welcomed three guests to their San Francisco home, and has since grown to over 5 million hosts who have welcomed over 2 billion guest arrivals in almost every country across the globe. Every day, hosts offer unique stays and experiences that make it possible for guests to connect with communities in a more authentic way.The Community You Will Join
AirCover protects Hosts and guests on Airbnb, including Host liability insurance, Experiences liability insurance and Host damage protection. As the Engineering Manager for the AirCover Insurance Platform, you will lead the system that lets Airbnb launch, price, enroll and service insurance products in new regions, and that lets the business test what drives Hosts and guests to be covered. You will lead a team of senior and staff engineers across backend engineering through the platform's next phase: from region-by-region builds to a configurable, globally scalable platform, and from ad hoc tests to a rigorous experimentation engine that raises attach rates. The team partners closely with Product, Design, Data Science, Legal, Insurance and Finance, and with teams across Airbnb that depend on AirCover.
The Difference You Will Make
Scale the insurance platform to new countries and products by making regulatory, pricing, coverage and enrollment rules configurable rather than rebuilt for each region.
Build the experimentation foundation that lets Product and Data Science test coverage offers, pricing, placement and messaging, and measure their effect on attach rate.
Deliver a multi-year platform roadmap and global rollout on a fast-growing team with greenfield opportunities.
Apply data and LLM-driven automation where it improves coverage decisions, quality and the Host and guest experience.
Grow a team that owns initiatives end to end, in an inclusive environment that values well-being and sustainable engineering practices.
A Typical Day
Work with senior leaders to define the long-term technical strategy and architecture for the AirCover insurance platform.
Partner with Product, Data Science, Legal and Insurance leaders to set priorities across regional expansion, attach-rate growth and platform reliability.
Lead the team to build reliable, auditable and scalable systems for policy and coverage management, enrollment, pricing inputs and experimentation.
Own the team roadmap, technical direction and operational health, including incident response and on-call quality.
Align stakeholders and adjacent teams on shared standards and a common platform approach.
Work with data scientists and ML engineers to incorporate their insights and models into experimentation, so the business can test and improve attach rates.
Stay close to the code through design and code reviews.
Hire, mentor and develop engineers, and support their career growth.
Your Expertise
10+ years of relevant experience in the tech industry, including 5+ years as an Engineering Manager owning large-scale software systems.
Track record of setting and holding a multi-year technical direction on a live, business-critical platform, including leading a major re-architecture or multi-region expansion while continuing to deliver.
Depth in backend platforms, with experience in distributed systems and high-availability services. Experience with insurance, payments, fintech or other regulated domains is a strong plus.
Strong product judgment exercised through data, including running experiments and using measurement to improve conversion or attach rate.
Experience managing and growing senior and staff engineers, and creating an environment where they own initiatives end to end.
Strong communication and influence with technical and non-technical partners, including Legal, Finance and Operations.
A proven track record of fostering a culture of Diversity and Belonging within the organization and across the tech community.
Your Location
This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager. While the position is Remote Eligible, you must live in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity. A Note on Recruiting Scams: Scammers sometimes pose as Airbnb recruiters to get money or personal information from candidates.
