QuickMail: Technical Customer Support

Company:
Location: Remote
Published: 2026-10-10

Headquarters: Zurich, Switzerland URL: https://quickmail.com The role We are hiring a technical customer support person with an owner's mentality. You will own support for QuickMail and Mailflow, our deliverability add-on. There is no first or second line. You are the first and last person our customers talk to. Customers count on you to solve their problems and find the real cause when something breaks. You work closely with engineering, and you tell the founder what we need to know to make the product better: where the friction is and where the opportunities are. The role covers the help desk, system health checks, testing new releases before they ship, and leading the weekly team meeting. It takes excellent communication, solid technical understanding and sharp critical thinking. This is not a script-reading job. Most tickets involve deliverability, DNS records, LinkedIn automation or campaign setup. You dig into customer accounts in our Support Dashboard, reproduce the issue, then decide what to do and how to explain it to the customer. We are a remote team spread across time zones. Most routine tasks have a written guide with a checklist, so you know what done looks like. You are expected to refine and improve those processes. When something new comes up, you work out the most efficient way to handle it. If you want a lot of autonomy across many areas, real responsibility and a fast-paced environment, this role is for you.   What work looks like You own two things: customers get unstuck fast, and the product stays reliable   Every day Set the day's support priorities and work the Help Scout queue for QuickMail and Mailflow. Triage, resolve, and dig deeper when a ticket needs it. Check the support dashboard: job queue, event-stream latency, blacklist status, newly purchased domains. If something is off, investigate, diagnose, and drive it to resolution. Review fraud alerts and disable accounts that are scams or abusing the platform.   Delighting customers Comfortable jumping on calls with customers, building rapport fast. and set them up for success. Update the changelog and help articles based on what shipped and what customers asked. Share customer feedback with the team, ask happy customers for reviews and case studies, and watch NPS for testimonial candidates.   Making support smarter with AI Improve the AI support agent. Review its answers, fix the docs it drew from when it is wrong, and contact the customer when its reply was off. Write and maintain automated tests, built with AI, that try to break staging before customers do. Use the MCP connections we have in place (Helpscout, GitHub, Postmark, and others) to get an accurate picture of support and find the next thing worth improving.   Keeping the product solid Gatekeep releases. New fixes and features land on staging every week. Test them, confirm when staging is ready to ship, and think through how existing and new users will be affected. Report bugs as GitHub issues with everything the developer needs: steps to reproduce, screenshots or a Loom, and any GraphQL or console errors. Captain red alerts. When a core feature breaks (emails not sending, login down), confirm it, alert the team on Slack or Telegram, update the status page every 30 minutes, keep affected customers informed, and drive the fix. Then run the retrospective so it does not happen twice.   Running the week Lead the weekly team meeting in MonsterOps: issues written up, to-dos done, numbers updated. Keep rock status and KPIs current in MonsterOps.   Tools you'll use: Helpscout, our Support Dashboard, Sidekiq, GitHub, Slack, Telegram, MonsterOps, Outline, MxToolbox, Postmark, Bento, TidyCal, Fathom, Visual Code and Claude. Requirements Who you are You build rapport fast. You are warm, positive, and relatable in writing and on calls. You are a good communicator. Externally, you can show warmth, empathy and care. Internally, you are able to communicate clearly and concisely about important things. You can operate with minimal instructions. You understand a short brief without every detail spelled out. You can prioritize well (especially when you have a lot on your plate), and get things done without hand-holding. You are comfortable on video. You are natural on live calls with Zoom and Meet, and on recorded video through tools like loom. Your teammates can always count on you. You say what you'll do and you do what you said. You act with a constant sense of urgency. You can execute fast and find new ways to improve your productivity. You are resourceful. You use all the tools at your disposal to get great results. You have a low ego. You don't take offense easily and you handle disagreement as a discussion, not a personal attack. Growth mindset. You are positive about new workflow/process/product/tool changes. You love giving and receiving positive and negative feedback without getting defensive. Hours that overlap with East coast US and UK, where most of our customers are.   A plus if you have Have experience with customer facing, or if you don't have it, tell us why you are perfect for this role. Working knowledge of deliverability and LinkedIn outreach. Warmup, DNS, inbox rotation, DKIM, SPF, Outlook and Gmail technical setup, . We can teach this, but a head start helps. Comfort with agency setups. Workspaces, guest seats, inbox purchases and what happens when an agency loses a client. Light data skills. You can pull numbers from Help Scout or our MCP to back up what you report. An eye for happy customers. You notice them and ask for testimonials and case studies at the right moment.   How we work together You’ll work directly with me, the founder, and with our lead developer. Working with me can be intense. Here is what that looks like in practice: My replies are short and can come across as harsh. If something I wrote lands badly or isn’t clear, ask me. My direction can change. I may say one thing, then something different a few days later as I learn more. When that happens, check what changed and adapt. I prefer information to be short and to the point. Lead with what matters, then give more details if I ask. I can stay frustrated about a problem until it’s solved. That's something I'm aware of and working on. You’ll do well here if you can stay calm and focused when the pressure is on. We often think fast and interrupt each other when discussing ideas. If that would bother you, this role probably isn’t for you.   This role suits someone with high emotional intelligence, who doesn’t take things personally, asks when something is unclear, and keeps many things moving at once. Your schedule can be flexible. If you have a martial arts class every Thursday at 3 pm, go and make up the time later. In return, on the rare occasion we need your help on a weekend, we ask you to be flexible too.   Benefits Contract type (full-time or part-time) Compensation: $2,500 to $4,000 USD per month, depending on experience and location. US-based hires will work as independent contractors (1099). Start date: negotiable To apply: https://weworkremotely.com/remote-jobs/quickmail-technical-customer-support

Netlify: Senior Demand Generation Marketing Manager

Company:
Location: Remote
Published: 2026-10-10

Headquarters: Remote About the Team Netlify is a product-led growth company with an unusually large organic top-of-funnel, where tens of thousands of people discover and sign up for Netlify every day. That organic motion is real and meaningful, but paid acquisition is a new investment area for the marketing team, and there's a clear opportunity to build that capability from the ground up.  As Senior Manager, Demand Generation & Performance Marketing, you'll own paid acquisition end to end - strategy, channel selection, budget, and the agency relationship that supports execution. You'll report to the CMO, with a planned transition to the VP of Growth Marketing as that function scales, and work closely with Marketing Operations, Data, Lifecycle, and Campaigns to make sure paid-acquired users don't just land, but convert and stick. This is a builder role at a company where the organic foundation is already strong, and your job is to build the paid layer that extends its reach. What You'll Do Build and own Netlify's paid acquisition strategy end to end, including paid search, paid social, retargeting, sponsorships, and any other channels worth testing and proving out.  Own the call on where paid creates incremental value for Netlify. Design the tests, prove which channels and audiences drive growth our organic funnel wouldn't have delivered anyway, and decide where to scale, where to hold, and where not to spend at all. Manage the agency relationship(s) supporting paid/performance work by setting the brief, holding the agency accountable to targets, and deciding what to bring in-house as the function matures. Own budget planning, pacing, and ROI reporting for all paid spend, and make the case for where to double down or pull back. Partner with Marketing Operations to get attribution and UTM tracking right before scaling spend, so every dollar is measurable. Define target audiences and channel mix aligned to Netlify's ICP; partner with Product Marketing on messaging inputs for paid creative. Build the measurement framework for CAC, signup/pipeline contribution, and payback by channel. Partner with Lifecycle and Campaigns to make sure paid-acquired users flow into the right onboarding and activation journeys, not just land and drop off. As the program proves out, build the roadmap and case for a fully staffed paid/performance team. What You'll Bring 6+ years in demand generation or performance marketing, with direct ownership of a paid acquisition budget in a B2B SaaS or product-led growth environment Hands-on experience running paid search, paid social, and retargeting programs yourself - not just briefing agencies or reviewing their reports A track record of standing up or significantly scaling a paid acquisition program at an early stage, where you had to build the infrastructure and not just optimize what was already there Experience managing an external agency or partner relationship, including setting performance expectations and holding partners accountable to them Working knowledge of attribution and marketing measurement, and a history of partnering with Marketing Ops or Data teams to get tracking right before spend scales Some experience marketing to developers or technical audiences, or with a PLG motion where paid acquisition runs alongside a large organic and self-serve funnel This Role Is a Great Fit If You're energized by building and scaling a new paid program, not just optimizing one that's already mature. You think like an owner of budget and outcomes, not just a briefs-and-reports manager of an agency. You're comfortable moving between strategy (channel mix, targeting, budget allocation) and getting into the details yourself when it matters. You care about attribution being right before spend scales, not as an afterthought. You want to build in close partnership with Lifecycle, Campaigns, and Marketing Ops rather than run paid as a separate lane that hands off a spreadsheet at the end of the quarter Applying Not sure you meet 100% of our qualifications? Please apply anyway! When applying please include:  A resume or short listing of your job history & skills (link to a LinkedIn profile would be fine). We appreciate a cover letter explaining why you would enjoy working in this role at Netlify to get to know you a bit better, though this is not required and will not impact your application. Our mission is to “build a better web” and that cannot be done without a diversity of skill sets, backgrounds and thoughts.  Of everything we've ever built at Netlify, we are most proud of our team. Netlify is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We are devoted to building a team of people with diverse backgrounds and lifestyles. Driving equality empowers our team, enables us to innovate, and helps us maintain a more inclusive environment. We don’t discriminate against employees or applicants based on gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, religion, age, race, military/veteran status, citizenship, pregnancy status, or any other differences. If we can do anything to provide a better interview, i.e. accommodate a disability, then please let us know by emailing accommodations@netlify.com.  About Netlify Netlify is the most popular way to build, deploy, and scale modern web applications, empowering everyone from fast moving solo developers to enterprise teams. Millions of developers and organizations rely on Netlify as their platform of choice for composing web applications that are production ready, performant, and flexible. Now, as we embrace the next era of software development, we are embedding the same fluid, intuitive experience into the Agent Experience (AX), making it just as simple for intelligent agents to understand, interact with, and act on our platform as it is for developers. Whether your user is human or machine, Netlify ensures the path from idea to URL is seamless, fast, and deeply reliable. We are a Series D company that has raised over $200M from investors such as Andreessen Horowitz, Kleiner Perkins, EQT, Bessemer, BOND, and Menlo Ventures. As a fully distributed company, we aim to create a company culture where the best idea can come from anywhere and strive to be thoughtful, compassionate, and collaborative in our work. If this sounds like something you’d like to be part of, we’re excited to connect with you! At Netlify, we are committed to a compensation philosophy that prioritizes fairness and equity, positions our employee compensation competitively in the market, recognizes and rewards performance, and takes a comprehensive approach to our rewards package. We anchor our compensation philosophy on a market-based approach, therefore salary ranges may differ depending on the labor cost in a particular location. The salary provided is in addition to robust benefits and participation in Netlify’s equity plan. Our hiring range for this role is targeted at $150,000 - $200,000  for most US-based locations. Candidates outside the US or in premium markets should consult with their Talent Acquisition partner regarding location-based ranges, as they may be higher or lower than the average US range listed. The starting pay will be determined based on multiple factors, including expertise and skills, market demands, experience, internal equity, and applicable geographic location. These compensation packages and ranges are subject to change and may be modified in the future.  To apply: https://weworkremotely.com/remote-jobs/netlify-senior-demand-generation-marketing-manager

Company:
Location: Remote

Headquarters: Remote About the Team Netlify's Customer Success team is responsible for making sure customers get real, lasting value from the platform - from onboarding through renewal and beyond. The team works closely with Sales, Product, and Marketing to help customers grow their usage, see clear outcomes, and stay engaged over time. Every motion the team runs - whether it's a renewal conversation, a feature adoption push or customer escalation - is designed to build trust and relationships that compound. This role exists because we have a growing book of SMB accounts that need a dedicated, consistent point of contact. As our Customer Success Associate, you’ll drive broad-stroke outreach and build the workflows to manage them well. You'll carry a book of 120+ accounts with roughly $2M in ARR, and your job is to make sure those customers are engaged, getting value, and set up for renewal. This is an entry-level role with real ownership from day one, and you'll have mentorship from senior teammates as you ramp into the commercial side of the work. What You'll Do Own the day-to-day relationship for your book of accounts, serving as the primary point of contact and keeping customers informed, engaged, and successful on the platform Contribute ideas to dashboards and workflows to track your book of business - renewal timelines, health signals, engagement levels, and expansion indicators - so nothing falls through the cracks With guidance of leadership, drive outreach to customers ahead of renewal, lead those conversations, handle objections, and negotiate terms on flat renewals and smaller expansions, looping in Sales when a meaningful expansion opportunity emerges.  Track and forecast your renewal book on a rolling basis, proactively surfacing risks and creating plans to address them before they become problems Use product usage data and customer outcomes to demonstrate value in renewal conversations and ongoing check-ins Identify opportunities for feature adoption and product expansion within accounts, and flag those signals to the Sales team to build expansion pipeline Gather and synthesize customer feedback and share it with Product and internal stakeholders to inform roadmap decisions and improve the customer experience Work closely with senior CS teammates and your manager to develop your skills in account management, commercial negotiation, and customer communication What You'll Bring Some experience in a customer-facing role - this could be internship work, customer service, sales support, retail, or anything that required you to build rapport and solve problems for people Comfort working with data and spreadsheets, and a genuine interest in using that data to spot trends and make decisions A track record of following through: when you commit to something, you close the loop Clear written and verbal communication - you can explain things simply, listen well, and adapt your approach to different audiences An interest in building a career in customer success, and curiosity about the commercial side of the business - including how renewals work, how contracts are structured, and how value gets communicated to customers You’re based in the Denver, Colorado area and are comfortable working remotely while participating in occasional in-person meetings and engagement with Denver-based stakeholders. This Role is a Great Fit If You're energized by building relationships and want to be the person customers actually look forward to hearing from You thrive when you have ownership over a defined body of work and the freedom to figure out how to make it run better You enjoy the process of organizing complexity - tracking multiple accounts, spotting patterns, and keeping everything moving without things slipping You're drawn to roles where you learn by doing, and you're comfortable asking questions and taking feedback as you develop your skills You get excited about connecting customers to features or capabilities they didn't know they needed, and seeing that translate into real adoption You work well within a team structure and are looking for mentorship, but you also want to take real ownership rather than just support someone else's book Applying Not sure you meet 100% of our qualifications? We're committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences while fostering a company culture that nurtures individual curiosity, growth, and integrity. We’re excited about what’s next, and we’re looking for others to join us on our journey.Tines is investing in its quote-to-cash platform and process. This role contributes to how that platform is built and administered. You will be the systems owner for our quote-to-cash configuration in DealHub and Salesforce, inputting to the design direction, and technical build and administration. What you'll do Own DealHub build-out, configuration and day-to-day admin. Be the accountable owner of the platform: product catalog and SKU architecture, pricing and discounting rules, playbooks and quote flows, approval workflows, document and template management, and the Salesforce integration. Contribute to the platform roadmap. Working with Senior team members, translate where the business is going into a sequenced buildout plan as our products and commercial models evolve, and make the design calls that keep the configuration extensible rather than accumulating rework with every pricing change. Support our implementation partners. Scope and prioritise third-party services work, translate their the specifications and execute the builds, review and test what comes back, and hold quality and timeline. Set standards and governance. Define how change gets made: intake and prioritisation, sandbox and release practice, testing expectations, documentation standards, and the data-quality rules that stop bad data being created at the point of entry. Own the wider GTM stack in your scope. Maintain Salesforce configuration (objects, fields, flows, validation rules, permission sets, reporting) and the adjacent GTM tools that integrate with quote-to-cash. Be the systems partner to the business. Run requirements discovery with Sales, Deal Desk, Finance, and Legal, push back when an ask will not scale, and turn ambiguous business problems into specs people can build from. Maintain standards. Create the documentation and delivery standards for GTM Systems, mentor more junior analysts as the team grows What you'll bring 3+ years in GTM systems, business systems analysis, revenue systems, or sales operations in a B2B SaaS environment, including ownership of a revenue-critical platform. Hands-on DealHub administration experience. You have configured, not just used, DealHub: product catalog, pricing and discount rules, playbooks, approval workflows, templates, and the CRM integration. This is a requirement for this role. Strong Salesforce administration fluency: objects, fields, flows, validation rules, permission sets, reports and dashboards. Extensive knowledge of quote-to-cash: quoting, approvals, order forms, amendments, renewals, and the downstream handoffs into billing and compensation. Demonstrated solution design, not just configuration: you can take an ambiguous business problem, choose an approach, and defend the trade-offs behind it. Experience scoping and managing external implementation partners or contractors, and holding them to a standard. Confidence advising and influencing senior stakeholders, including saying no to a request that will not scale, and settling disagreements across Sales, Finance, and Legal. Clear communication with both technical and non-technical audiences, and a service mindset toward the reps who depend on the platform. Bonus points Exposure to a second enterprise CPQ platform alongside DealHub. Experience configuring CPQ through a pricing or packaging change Experience working alongside external implementation partners or systems integrators. Exposure to CaptivateIQ, NetSuite, or comparable ICM and ERP integrations. Salesforce Administrator or Platform App Builder certification. Experience working in an agile or sprint-based delivery model. Compensation: $126k- 150k OTE + equity #LI-SW1  At Tines, we’re all about trying new things and taking the leap.
