Porkbun: Content Creator & Video Producer
Company: Location: Remote Published: 2026-08-04
Headquarters: Oregon USA

Content Creator & Video Producer — Full-Time — $60,000/year + Benefits (Location: Remote, U.S.-based; Portland, Oregon preferred)
It's time to hire another amazing individual again. You could be the pick of the litter! This time we're hiring a Content Creator & Video Producer to help Porkbun become the brand people stop scrolling for. Are you the kind of creator who instinctively knows why one video gets 5 million views while another gets 50? Do you get excited about writing hooks, telling stories, and making domain names — yes, domain names — unexpectedly entertaining? Then please read on and apply!
Porkbun is a fully remote domain name registrar. We're looking to add a U.S.-based, full-time Content Creator & Video Producer. We are hiring from within the United States, with a preference for candidates in or around Portland, Oregon, since IRL team collaboration is encouraged.
From .com to .pizza to .plumbing, Porkbun sells more than 500 domain extensions directly to consumers. Our no-nonsense interface and super-affordable prices mean we're adding new customers at a fantastic rate. We've become the go-to registrar for tech-savvy individuals such as developers, while bargain-hunters are thrilled to learn that we offer incredible support despite our industry-low prices.
We've spent years getting really good at buying attention. Now we want to build something more valuable: our own audience — and this role owns that. Porkbun has a uniquely committed and interested fan-base, and we know that our brand is well-positioned to share content that new and existing customers stop scrolling for.
What you'll do:
You'll own video content on organic channels from concept to publication — brainstorming ideas, writing scripts and hooks, filming (cameras, phones, mics, screen recordings), starring or creative casting, editing short- and long-form video, designing thumbnails and titles, publishing, and reading the numbers the next morning so the next one is better. One great idea shouldn't become one video: you'll turn a single concept into YouTube Shorts, TikToks, Reels, LinkedIn posts, newsletter and landing-page content, product-education videos, customer and founder interviews, and registry partner campaign assets. You’ll create both polished, educational knowledge base infotainment and scrappier organic social content that carries the brand’s unique personality.
You'll work closely with the marketing team to publish and optimize content, collaborate with creators and influencers, and support partner campaigns. You'll continually explore and experiment with emerging AI tools for ideation, editing, animation, voiceovers, localization, and video production, helping us discover new ways to create better content more efficiently.
Your work will span everything from short-form social videos and longer educational content to customer interviews, product explainers, behind-the-scenes stories, and creative campaign assets. As this is a brand-new role, you'll have the opportunity to grow our content strategy in a new direction. As you succeed, you will be positioned to lead and hire a team to start turning this giant personal responsibility list into a super team within the marketing department.
Success won't be measured by views alone. We'll measure it by your ability to build our audience, strengthen the Porkbun brand, create content people genuinely enjoy, and help move our marketing forward.
Important skills and experience:
• A portfolio that shows your work and potential
• Strong instincts for brand stories and engaging content
• Comfort with the full pipeline: ideation, filming, editing, publishing, and analysis
• Fluency in both short-form social content and longer educational / infotainment formats
• You edit “one more version” because you know it'll be better, and you know AI makes creative people more versatile, not less relevant
Bonus points for experience with any of: Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, Descript, Canva, motion graphics or animation, photography, podcast production, YouTube SEO, creator partnerships, marketing tech or SaaS, and AI tools like Runway, Veo, ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, or ElevenLabs.
If the above describes you, or you can make a strong case for why we should hire you anyway, please follow the instructions below EXACTLY and respond accurately — failure to do so means we will filter out your application.
• Attach your resume as a .pdf and include links to your portfolio, website, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, or anywhere else you've created content
• Address your email with the subject line “Content Creator & Video Producer”
• Begin your email body by copying, pasting, and responding to the qualifying questions below. If you answer NO, we're sorry, but you are not eligible for the role:
Are you based in the USA and eligible for employment (Yes/No)?
Do you have a portfolio or body of content work you can share (Yes/No)?
• Even better than a written intro: record a quick video telling us why you'd be a great fit. We are, after all, hiring a creator.
• Send that email to careers@porkbun.com
Starting pay: $60,000/year + benefits. Applicants with multiple years of notable professional experience creating video and social content are eligible for a higher starting salary.
This position offers full medical, dental, and vision benefits (single) starting after 90 days, and 50% medical insurance contribution for family or spousal benefits, and a Simple IRA plan with a matching 3% company contribution after the first year. It also includes paid parental leave, two weeks of paid vacation to start, paid federal holidays plus bonus days around Thanksgiving and Christmas, and a budget for creative tools and professional development.

Hook & Ladder: Web Developer
Company: Location: Remote Published: 2026-08-04
Headquarters: Colombia
URL: http://hldigital.ca
We’re Hiring a Web Developer (Multi-Platform Maintenance)
You’ll be the go-to person keeping multiple client websites running smoothly- a versatile Web Developer who thrives on variety, learns fast, and takes pride in details.
Hook & Ladder is a purpose-driven digital marketing agency serving multi-location restaurant and franchise brands across the US and Canada, and we’re looking for a Mid-level Web Developer who is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and ready to support technical delivery across multiple projects. You'll jump between projects, keep websites updated and running smoothly, and continue growing as a developer in a fast-paced agency environment.
This role is for someone who loves variety, picks up new tools quickly, and wants hands-on mentorship from our Web Lead and senior developers while building real-world experience across WordPress, Elementor, Shopify, and Wix. You’ll work under the guidance of our Web Lead and Senior Developers, which means you should be proactive, communicative, and comfortable asking questions when you need direction.
This is a hands-on maintenance role. You’ll be handling WordPress + Elementor Pro edits and troubleshooting across a rotating portfolio of client sites, plus making practical, non-advanced edits in Shopify and Wix (product/page updates, theme customization) when a project calls for it, and coordinating with the Web Lead and account teams to keep every site on track.
We want someone who’s organized, detail-oriented, and genuinely curious about growing their skills across multiple CMS platforms, someone who understands that every website they touch matters to a real client’s business.
Okay, but why Hook + Ladder?
Remote-first, flexible, and built on trust. We care about outcomes, not clock-ins. You'll have the autonomy to own your work without micromanagement, while being supported by a collaborative team that has your back.
Your work creates real impact. Your ideas won't sit in a deck collecting dust. You'll help drive measurable growth for exciting multi-location brands, and your contributions will directly influence client success.
Built to grow. As the agency scales, so can your career. We invest in your development through coaching, strengths-based growth, continuous feedback, and opportunities to become one of our future leaders.
A team that genuinely collaborates. You'll partner closely with Client Success, Content, Design, SEO, and Leadership in a fast-moving environment where initiative is valued, ideas are shared, and wins are celebrated together.
Great work deserves great rewards. Enjoy a remote-first culture, flexible PTO, unlimited sick days, and a profit-sharing program. Because when we win, everyone wins!
✨What You'll Be Doing:
WordPress & Elementor Maintenance: Handle day-to-day edits, content updates, and troubleshooting across multiple client WordPress + Elementor sites. Make sure every change looks right across devices and browsers before it ships.
Quality Assurance & Technical Oversight: Test your own work across devices and browsers before marking a ticket done. Catch broken layouts, spacing issues, and missed details our clients notice.
Problem-Solving & Debugging: Troubleshoot common WordPress and Elementor issues (plugin conflicts, layout breaks, broken links), and know when to solve it yourself versus flagging it to a senior developer.
Multi-Platform Versatility: Make practical edits in Shopify and Wix when projects require it, product/page updates, theme customization, basic app setup- without needing deep platform expertise.
Innovation, Automation & Continuous Improvement: Communicate proactively with the Web Lead and account teams on ticket status and blockers. Stay curious, keep learning new tools and platforms, and grow into a stronger, more senior developer over time.
This Job Is for You If:
You have 1–3 years of hands-on experience with WordPress + Elementor (agency experience is a plus, not required).
You’re comfortable building and editing pages in Elementor Pro using existing templates and global styles.
You have working knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3, enough for small custom tweaks. PHP/MySQL knowledge is a bonus, not a requirement.
⚙️ You understand responsive design, accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, and performance optimization.
You’re comfortable making basic edits in Shopify and/or Wix, product updates, page tweaks, and simple theme customization.
You care about website security, SSL, updates; best practices are non-negotiable.
You’re not afraid to ask questions; you’d rather check with a senior dev than guess and break something.
You think beyond code; you understand business goals and why the site exists.
You’re curious about AI, automation, and modern tools that increase leverage.
You have strong English communication skills (B2+).
Bonus Points (Nice to Have)
Experience with multi-location or franchise brands (QSR, retail, hospitality).
Hands-on experience with Shopify and/or Wix beyond basic edits.
Familiarity with GTM and GA4 implementation.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and ticketing tools (ClickUp, Asana, Jira).
Spanish or French proficiency.
This Role Is Not for You If:
You need to focus on a single project; this role means juggling several client sites at once.
“Close enough” is good enough for you.
You avoid collaboration and prefer working in a silo.
You resist documentation or coding standards.
You ignore security, performance, or QA best practices.
You think learning new tools isn’t necessary.
Show us what you got. Tell us how you think. Let's see if we're a fit.
Apply now - we'd love to meet you!
