The Team

• Proven experience building and shipping AI/ML features in a production environment.

• Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) like GPT, Claude, or open-source alternatives.

• Familiarity with LLM orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar tools.

• Experience with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Chroma) and embedding techniques.

• Strong programming skills, particularly in Python, and experience working within an established codebase.

About the team

Angi is seeking an exceptional Staff Machine Learning Engineer who can enable our transformation into a world-class online marketplace. The role is in our Data Science and Machine Learning team, tackling challenges such as homeowner-pro matching, search ranking, and using predictive models to optimize our product and consumer experience. Machine Learning Engineer

This role exists to support the business in utilizing Machine Learning applications to drive additional value for our customers by feeding into the delivery of strategic data science solutions whilst setting up resilient and future-proof ML infrastructure and engineering foundations.

• Designing and developing our ML Operations (MLOps) infrastructure and practices to support the effective transition of machine learning models and PoCs into production in a cost and operationally efficient manner.
