RETR: Customer Success Manager

Company:
Location: Remote
Published: 2026-10-09

Headquarters: Remote URL: https://retr.app/ About RETR RETR is a mortgage market intelligence platform. Loan officers use us to find the real estate agents worth building relationships with, mortgage companies use us to recruit top producers, and lenders use us to decide who to lend their money through. More than 55% of the Top 100 mortgage lenders are customers. We were founded in 2022, we are bootstrapped and profitable, and we have never taken outside money. We grew because loan officers told other loan officers about us. That word of mouth is the whole company in one sentence, and it is why customer outcomes are not a service function here. They are the growth engine. We are fully remote and we operate on a few principles: lead with value, do the right thing, be generous without keeping score. We hire for honesty, integrity, fairness, accountability, and excellence, and we have very little appetite for process that does not earn its place. The role This is one of the first Customer Success Managers at RETR, and you will own a book of our enterprise customers end to end: the relationships, the value they get, the renewal, and the growth. Our enterprise customers are held today by the founders, sales, support, and enablement, and they are held well. This role exists because the book has outgrown what any of them can carry alongside their own jobs. You get a defined set of accounts and the time to go deep on them: exactly how each one is doing, what it needs next, and where it should be a year from now. You will report to our VP of Customer Advocacy and work alongside the account executives who own new business and large expansions, and the trainers who run onboarding and group sessions. What you own Four things. Everything else you do should move one of them. A plan for every customer. A short written plan for every account in your book: why they bought, who the people are, what they are trying to accomplish, how they actually use the product, where the risk is, and what happens next. New accounts get one within 30 days. Plans get refreshed before every review and every renewal. The renewal. You own the path to renewal from the day the account joins your book, not from 30 days out. Risk gets named early, in writing, with a plan against it. Nothing should churn without someone having seen it coming. Expansion. Growth comes from value: new use cases, new features, new product lines, new teams and branches, and the seats that follow once people see what it is worth. You run the smaller expansions yourself and bring in an account executive on the larger ones. Part of your pay is tied to this, and it should feel like the natural result of doing the rest of the job well. Advocates. Healthy customers become references, case studies, testimonials, referrals, and beta participants. In an industry this relationship-driven, a customer willing to vouch for us is worth more than most marketing we could buy. Underneath those four, the work is: knowing how customers use RETR and helping them use it better, building relationships with executive sponsors and daily users alike, reading health from adoption and conversation rather than guessing, and bringing what you hear back into the company so the product and the experience get better. What this role is not It is not reactive account management, and it is not a job you win by holding a set number of calls a week. Calls matter, but what matters is what happens on them: the relationship built, the plan moved, the value shown, the joy created. It is not a support queue. We have a support team and they are good. You are not the escalation path for every ticket in your book. Because we are still building the Customer Advocacy function, you won't be stepping into a perfectly defined playbook. You'll help create it. We want someone who is energized by that. How we work RETR is intentionally lean. Automation before hiring, systems before managers, one to many before one to one. Technology and AI should absorb the work that does not need human judgment, so our people spend their time where people are worth the most: understanding a customer's business, solving a real problem, building a relationship, finding the opportunity nobody else saw. So we do not want CSMs living in spreadsheets or doing repetitive admin. We want them thinking, and immersed/obsessed with our customers. We are fully remote and async first. We write things down. We measure what you deliver, and in this role that is the health of your book. What success looks like A great CSM here can answer these about any account, at any moment, without opening a file: Why did this customer buy RETR? How are they using it today, and who actually uses it? Are they getting value, and how do we know? Who inside the organization cares, and who signs the renewal? Where could we create more value for them? What could cost us this renewal? What happens next, and when? In your first 30 days you will know your book: the renewals coming, the accounts at risk, and the people who matter in each. By 60 days every account has a plan and you have met the sponsors who count. By 90 days you are running the full scorecard, with your first expansions in motion. Over a year, the work shows up as deeper adoption, earlier risk detection, stronger retention and expansion, and a list of customers willing to say so publicly. Most of all, our customers should feel that RETR understands their business and is invested in it. What we're looking for You are probably a strong fit if you: Have 3+ years in customer success, account management, or another customer-facing SaaS role, owning a book with renewal or expansion targets. Get genuinely curious about how a customer's business makes money, and can connect our product to the outcomes they care about. Are comfortable owning the commercial health of an account, not just the relationship: the renewal, the risk, the growth. Spot expansion that comes from real value, without turning every conversation into a pitch. Notice problems early and act before anyone asks you to. Move fast. Customers hear back from you quickly, and plans turn into action in days, not weeks. Build relationships deep enough that customers want to vouch for you. Use data, AI, and automation to decide where to focus, and save your own time for the conversations that need a person. Communicate clearly with everyone from a daily user to a C-level executive. Like building playbooks and doing well when the answer is not written down yet. Are motivated by having part of your pay tied to keeping and growing your customers. Work well with the account executives, support, and enablement people who share your accounts, and make them better at their jobs. Get real energy out of a customer who is winning, and are not satisfied until they are. Mortgage experience is a major plus. If you have worked in or sold into mortgage lending, whether at a lender, a broker, a vendor, a title or settlement company, or anywhere else in the ecosystem, say so clearly in your application. Our customers are loan officers, branch managers, and mortgage executives whose income moves with rates. Someone who already understands mortgage origination, recruiting, relationship building, and how a loan officer actually spends their day, starts contributing months earlier and earns credibility in the room on the first call. It is a strong preference, not a requirement. Adjacent fintech, real estate, or proptech experience counts for a lot too, and we will take how you think and operate over a resume line every time. Compensation and benefits Base salary $85,000. On-target earnings $115,000, including $30,000 of variable at 100% of target, paid quarterly. Variable can reach 150% of target for strong performance, which puts total earnings around $130,000. Base is a national figure with no location adjustment. Variable pay is tied to the two things this role exists to do: Keeping customers. Retention across your book. Growing customers. Expansion you lead, plus the larger expansions you help an account executive close. You will see the full plan, including how each component pays out, before you accept an offer. We publish levels and bands internally, so you will always know your band and what the next level takes. Benefits: Medical premiums fully paid by RETR Employer-provided dental, vision, life, and short and long-term disability 401(k) with match: 100% of your first 1%, plus 50% of your next 5% 15 days PTO plus 13 paid holidays, including Christmas Eve and the day after Thanksgiving $100 weekly meal stipend and $100 monthly wellness stipend $250 quarterly swag credit Full home office setup: laptop, monitors, camera, and peripherals Fully remote, and we fly the whole company together twice a year How to apply Email a resume to jobs@retr.app, with a few lines on one customer you kept, grew, or turned into an advocate, and what you actually did. Amwell: Lead Digital Marketing Manager

Company:
Location: Remote
Published: 2026-10-09

Headquarters: Remote US Company Description At Amwell, we’re transforming healthcare for all—powered by technology and inspired by people. Here, your ideas don’t just matter—they drive real change, improving lives on a global scale. We marry technology and innovation with clinical excellence to provide trusted solutions that solve the healthcare industry’s biggest pain points and are on a mission to enable greater access to more convenient, affordable, and effective care. We do this through our technology-enabled care platform that is designed to help our clients achieve their digital care ambitions – today and in the future. We offer programs spanning the full care continuum, including urgent, acute and specialty care, behavioral health, and services for the treatment of chronic conditions such as heart and cardiometabolic diseases. Programs are powered by Amwell as well as our growing partner network. For almost two decades, Amwell has proudly served some of the largest and most sophisticated healthcare organizations in the U.S. and worldwide. Our team is passionate about technology’s role in transforming care delivery and making it more equitable, accessible, efficient, cost-effective and navigable for all.Brief Overview  This role owns Amwell's marketing web estate and how discoverable it is, across four properties: SilverCloud, business.amwell.com, patients.amwell.com, and LiveHealthOnline. Accountability covers performance and conversion on those properties, the compliance posture of what runs on them, and discoverability as search behavior shifts toward AI-generated answers. The role directs work rather than performing all of it. Engineering owns development capacity and Design owns visual execution; this role defines, sequences, and holds the quality of the work both produce for the web estate. Page content and messaging remain with the pillar that owns each page, so this role owns the platform and its performance rather than what the pages say. Core Responsibilities  What the role owns: • The four web properties — performance, conversion, and delivery • Web compliance and governance, including cookie consent and tracking governance • GEO and AI-answer discoverability across the properties, alongside conventional search performance • Definition and sequencing of website build and development work delivered by Engineering • Coordination with the separate Design team on visual work for the estate • The web roadmap and the case for what it returns How success is measured: • Conversion performance across the four properties, and measured improvement in GEO and AI-answer discoverability (primary measurable output) • Web property performance, including speed and core experience measures • Tracking-compliance coverage across the estate • Delivery of the web roadmap against plan • Contribution of web to demand and engagement funnels What the role does not own: Scope boundaries are explicit, so accountability is single-owned and hand-offs are clean. • Page content and messaging — each pillar owns what its own pages say • Product application surfaces — Product • Engineering development capacity itself — Engineering owns the resource; this role directs the work • Visual design execution — the separate Design team • Off-site authority and earned citations — Brand and Corporate Marketing with the external agency • Paid media and demand strategy — Demand Generation Manager Qualifications • 7+ years in web, digital marketing, or growth, with direct ownership of a web estate • A track record of moving a conversion measure on owned properties, not only of shipping site work • Technical SEO depth, and demonstrated engagement with GEO and AI-answer discoverability • Experience directing engineering delivery without owning the engineering resource • Web compliance and tracking governance experience, including consent management • Analytics fluency sufficient to defend what the web numbers claim • The ability to hold a roadmap across competing stakeholder demands from multiple pillars Preferred • Healthcare or other regulated-industry web experience, including accessibility obligations • Multi-property or multi-brand estate management • CMS migration or replatforming experience • Experience establishing GEO measurement where no baseline existed Do Well. Live Well. At Amwell.  Driven by our mission and values, we foster a workplace where Delivering Awesome, being Customer First and operating as One Team aren’t just aspirations – they are how we work, every day.   Our people are our greatest asset. We strive to empower their growth and development not only as Amwellians but as individuals, through generous total rewards packages, a virtual-first work environment, work-life flexibility, including Summer Fridays and designated Mental Health Days, as well as opportunities to stretch and learn – to name a few. It’s our people who truly differentiate us. Ask anyone and they’ll tell you – you’ll never work with more passionate, more driven and more caring team members.     We champion a culture of respect and inclusion, accountability and integrity, innovation and collaboration. At Amwell, you’ll do the most meaningful work of your career—improving healthcare for millions, growing alongside incredible teammates, and being valued for who you are.   Benefits  Flexible Personal Time Off (Vacation time) 401K match Competitive healthcare, dental and vision insurance plans Paid Parental Leave (Maternity and Paternity leave) Employee Stock Purchase Program Free access to Amwell’s Telehealth Services, SilverCloud and The Clinic by Cleveland Clinic’s second opinion program Free Subscription to the Calm App Tuition Assistance Program Pet Insurance  Salaried, Exempt Roles The typical base salary range for this position is $121,950 - $149,050.  The actual salary offer will ultimately depend on multiple factors including, but not limited to, knowledge, skills, relevant education, experience, complexity or specialization of talent, and other objective factors.  In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus based on a combination of company performance and employee performance. Long-term incentive and short-term variable compensation may be offered as part of the compensation package dependent on the role. Some roles may be commission based, in which case the total compensation will be based on a commission, and the above range may not be an accurate representation of total compensation. Further, the above range is subject to change based on market demands and operational needs and does not constitute a promise of a particular wage or a guarantee of employment. Your recruiter can share more during the hiring process about the specific salary range based on the above factors listed. Fraud Prevention Notice As part of Amwell's commitment to maintaining a secure and trusted hiring process, Amwell uses fraud detection capabilities within its hiring platform to help identify potentially suspicious, fraudulent, or unauthorized activity during the recruitment process. These tools are designed to help protect candidates, Amwell, and the integrity of the hiring process by identifying indicators that may be associated with impersonation, account misuse, or other forms of recruiting fraud. Information generated through fraud detection is reviewed by authorized personnel and is not used as the sole basis for hiring decisions. Personal information collected or processed in connection with fraud detection will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws and Amwell's Applicant Privacy Notice. Identity Verification Notice As part of Amwell's commitment to maintaining a secure and trusted hiring process, candidates for this role are required to complete an identity verification step through Greenhouse Identity Verification powered by CLEAR during the interview process.  Identity verification is used solely to confirm a candidate's identity and help prevent fraud and impersonation within the hiring process. It is not a background check and does not independently determine hiring decisions.  Because this role has been designated as requiring identity verification, completion of the verification process is a condition of continuing in the recruitment process. Candidates who do not complete the identity verification process will not be eligible to advance to subsequent stages of consideration for this role.  Personal information collected as part of the identity verification process will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws and Amwell's Applicant Privacy Notice.  https://business.amwell.com/company/privacy-notice-US-applicants    Privacy Notice  To apply: https://weworkremotely.com/remote-jobs/amwell-lead-digital-marketing-manager

Content engagement is a shared measure with the execution side, which owns timing and deliverability Core Responsibilities  What the role owns: • Content strategy and production across service lines, the engagement showcase, and content libraries • Inputting email content into the email CMS (Knak) — copy and image selection • The Engagement Hub content library and its maintenance • Case-study and enablement-asset production, against designs set by the account owners • AI-assisted drafting and direction of contractor capacity for volume, within the approved content guidelines • Brand-voice consistency across member-facing content How success is measured: • Content engagement across member-facing email and hub content, as the content contribution to open and click performance (primary measurable output) • Content throughput and turnaround against briefs • Brand-voice and quality consistency across the library • Coverage of the service lines against the content plan What the role does not own: Scope boundaries are explicit so accountability is single-owned and hand-offs are clean. • Campaign strategy or the customer relationship — the account owners • The CMS platform itself, its branding rules, templates, and access — Manager, Campaign Production and Platform • Campaign build, QA, and send — the campaign production team • Timing and deliverability of sends, which share the engagement measure • Foundational B2B content such as case studies, playbooks, and whitepapers — Commercialization • PHI governance standards, which are set by Compliance Qualifications Required • 5+ years producing consumer, member, or patient-facing content at volume • Demonstrated ability to move a content engagement measure, not only to ship content on time • Experience writing within regulated or clinically sensitive constraints, and the judgment to know when to route something to Compliance or Legal • Experience directing freelance, agency, or contractor capacity against a brief • Working fluency with AI-assisted drafting, and the editorial judgment to hold quality across it • Comfort operating as shared capacity across competing internal demands Preferred • Healthcare, health plan, or behavioral health content experience • Knak, Braze, or comparable content and email production platforms • Accessibility standards for member communications • Experience building or restructuring a content library Do Well. Personal information collected as part of the identity verification process will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws and Amwell's Applicant Privacy Notice.  https://business.amwell.com/company/privacy-notice-US-applicants    Privacy Notice  To apply: https://weworkremotely.com/remote-jobs/amwell-content-marketing-manager
