We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.About Us
Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data.Together, we’re delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data — from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on.Fivetran helps organizations automate data movement across the systems, clouds, engines, and tools they rely on. dbt Labs pioneered analytics engineering, helping teams transform data into reliable, governed insights. Together, we support thousands of organizations as they build a trusted foundation for analytics, AI, and better business decisions. As we bring our teams and technology together, we’re building on the strengths of both companies while continuing to deliver the products and experiences our customers know and trust. It’s an exciting time to join us: we’re creating a company with the scale, talent, and technology to help more organizations put their data to work with greater speed, confidence, and impact.During this transition period, you may see references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites.
About the Role
Fivetran is building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies.
We’re looking for a an Analyst to join our GTM Analytics team, where we turn data into the insights that shape decisions across Sales, Strategy, RevOps, Marketing, Deal Desk, and more. Most of your work will be answering business questions directly — pulling and structuring data, summarizing it clearly, and delivering a recommendation. When a request genuinely calls for a dashboard, you'll help scope the requirements and hand them off to our central data team to build.
In this role, you'll work on well-scoped, clearly framed requests — writing SQL to pull data, looking up how a metric is already built in Looker or Omni when one exists, using Claude to refine and debug your queries, and shaping the output in Excel or Google Sheets into something a stakeholder can act on. This is a developmental role: as you build experience, you'll take on progressively more ambiguous and higher-stakes requests.
This is a full-time position based out of our Costa Rica office.
Technologies You’ll Use
SQL, Excel and/or Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookups, formulas), Claude (or similar AI assistants), Salesforce (viewing/reading data) — exposure to BI tools like Looker, Omni, Sigma, or Hex is a plus
What You’ll Do
Write and adapt SQL queries against well-defined requests, using Claude to refine logic and troubleshoot errors
Look up existing metrics in Looker or Omni to understand how they're already built, and reuse that logic where it applies
Pull, clean, and structure data in Excel or Google Sheets to answer scoped stakeholder questions
Summarize findings into clear, plain-language takeaways for non-technical stakeholders
Validate data accuracy against source systems before sharing outputs
Ask clarifying questions to properly scope a request before starting work
Escalate requests that require deeper analytical judgment to senior team members
Maintain documentation of recurring requests and their underlying logic
Support ad hoc reporting needs across Sales, Strategy, RevOps, Marketing, Deal Desk, among others
Build working knowledge of dbt Labs' GTM data model (Salesforce objects, opportunity stages, fiscal calendar)
Skills We’re Looking For
Working knowledge of SQL (SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY, basic aggregate functions)
Comfortable using AI tools like Claude to write, debug, or refine queries and analysis
Advanced Excel and/or Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas)
Clear written and verbal communication skills in English
Basic understanding of SaaS sales concepts (opportunity stages, pipeline)
Strong attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work
Comfortable asking questions rather than guessing at ambiguous requests
Comfortable navigating existing Looker or Omni dashboards to trace how a metric is defined and built
Bonus Skills
Experience building in BI or exploratory-analysis tools like Looker, Omni, Sigma, or Hex (not required — happy to teach this on the job)
Familiarity with Salesforce
Prior internship or role in analytics, RevOps, or FP&A
Basic Python

Expel: Customer Success Manager, Scale
Company: Location: Remote Published: 2026-09-27
Headquarters: Remote
You've helped run a scale or pooled CS model before, or you've been inside one long enough to know what works and what doesn't. You know that scale CS done badly is just support with a fancier title, and done well it's a system that delivers consistent value to hundreds of customers. You want to join and help build the good version.
Expel is an MDR company. Our customers are security teams who depend on us to find and stop threats. We're launching a scale model for a segment of our customer base, and we're building it from scratch: the playbooks, the automation, the operating model, the measurement framework. You won't inherit a finished system. You'll be a primary contributor to designing it.
That means you're not just executing motions. You own specific programs within the model (new customer/onboarding cohorts, renewal campaigns, segment outreach), you exercise judgment on the edge cases the playbook doesn't cover, and you identify patterns across hundreds of customer interactions that tell you where the model needs to improve. When something breaks, you fix the process, not just the situation.
Your success is measured by the team's retention outcomes across the scale segment, the quality of your execution, and the motions you build and improve.
What Expel can do for you
Put you at the center of building a scale CS model from scratch inside a security company, with the latitude to shape how it works
Give you a company transforming security operations from industry-leading 20-minute outcomes toward 20-second outcomes with AI and automation, the kind of product story that makes CS conversations genuinely interesting
Surround you with experienced CS leadership that has built scale models before and knows the difference between good and bad
Connect you with customers who genuinely care about their security programs
Offer a clear path to grow professionally as our scale program and company grow
What you can do for Expel
Help design, execute and continuously improve playbook-driven customer interactions across the scale segment: new customer/onboarding, health checks, renewals, proactive outreach
Own specific motions or programs within the model, from design through execution and measurement
Exercise judgment on edge cases, distinguishing between situations that fit the playbook, situations that need a creative solution, and situations that require escalation
Design and lead one-to-many customer engagements: webinars, digital campaigns, scaled communications
Identify patterns in customer interactions and translate them into process improvements that make the scale function stronger
Maintain technical credibility in every interaction, speaking knowledgeably about Expel's service, security operations, and common integration patterns
Provide coaching and guidance to associate-level team members on process execution and customer handling
Contribute to the design of the scale operating model itself: systems requirements, automation workflows, measurement frameworks
What you should bring with you
2+ years of customer success, account management, or customer-facing experience
At least 2 years in the security industry (operations, products, consulting, GRC, or incident response)
Experience in a scale, scaled, or digital CS model is strongly preferred
Experience designing or significantly improving customer-facing processes or playbooks
Strong comfort with high-volume, queue-based work and frequent context-switching
Excellent written communication skills, clear, efficient, and adaptable across customer segments
Judgment to distinguish between what fits the playbook, what needs creativity, and what needs escalation
Solid security domain fluency: MDR, EDR, SIEM, NDR, cloud security, and how a real security program fits together
Familiarity with CS platforms, ticketing systems, and automation tools, with opinions about what works
Additional notes
The base salary range for this role is between $93,900 and $136,200 + bonus eligibility and equity.
We believe in paying transparently and equitably. Your salary will ultimately be based on factors such as your experience, skills, team equity, and market data. You’ll also be eligible for unlimited PTO (which we model and encourage), work location flexibility, up to 24 weeks of parental leave, and really excellent health benefits.
We're only hiring those authorized to work in the United States.
We're an Equal Opportunity Employer: You will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, sex, color, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or on the basis of disability.
We’ll ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform crucial job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment. Please let us know if you need accommodation of any kind.

Checkr: Senior Account Executive, InsurTech
Company: Location: Remote Published: 2026-09-27
Headquarters: Remote, United States
About CheckrCheckr is building the data platform to power safe and fair decisions. Over 140,000 companies and millions of people rely on Checkr for AI verification in the moments that matter most: getting a new job, a new place to live, a car ride, childcare, even a date. Customers include Uber, Pennymac, Airbnb, Doordash, and Anthropic. We’re a team that thrives on solving complex problems with innovative solutions that advance our mission. Checkr is recognized on Forbes Cloud 100 2025 List and is a Y Combinator 2024 Breakthrough Company.About the team/role
Checkr Trust is not a typical sales role. It's a chance to help build an entirely new business inside a category-defining company — and we're going deep on insurance.
Checkr Trust accelerates solutions that detect bad actors before they impact businesses. We have early traction in the insurance space, strong product-market pull, and the backing of Checkr — but we are still building the plane while flying it.
We are looking for a Senior Account Executive who knows the insurance industry from the inside: the players, the pain points, the buying dynamics, and the relationships. Someone who can walk into a room with a carrier, MGA, or program administrator and immediately earn credibility — not because of a slide deck, but because of deep domain fluency and a trusted network.
This role is for someone who wants:
A difficult, high-ownership role
Ambiguity over predictability
Accountability over excuses
Long-term impact over short-term comfort
This is not a "manage a book of inbound" job. This is a territory-building, market-educating, first-call-to-close ownership role within the insurance vertical. You will operate like a founder inside a startup — except you have the resources of an established company behind you.
If you want something safe and structured, this won't be the right fit. If you want to build something enduring in insurance — and are willing to do the hard work required — keep reading.
What You'll Do
Own the insurance vertical: define ICPs across carriers, MGAs, program administrators, and insurtech platforms — then build repeatable motion where none exists yet
Leverage your existing insurance relationships to accelerate pipeline and shorten deal cycles
Own the entire deal lifecycle — from cold outreach to multi-threaded enterprise close
Educate the market on a category that is still forming, translating Checkr Trust's value into the language of underwriting, loss prevention, and claims risk
Navigate complex insurance buying processes involving underwriting, compliance, legal, and executive stakeholders
Experiment with AI to find efficiencies across your work
Partner cross-functionally with product, legal, operations, and leadership to shape how we win in insurance
Hit ambitious revenue targets
Your fingerprints will be on how Checkr Trust wins in insurance.
What We're Looking For
You are someone who:
Has 5–7+ years of full-cycle, quota-carrying sales experience — hunting required
Has deep roots in the insurance industry
Has sold six- or seven-figure deals in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
Understands insurance workflows well enough to connect Checkr Trust's solutions to real underwriting and risk management problems
Has built pipeline when there was no brand awareness in a market
Has worked in a startup or operated like you were in one
Has outperformed targets in situations that weren't perfectly set up for you
Has tangible examples of projects created using advanced AI tactics
Carries an A-player mindset: you raise the bar, move with urgency, stay resilient through ambiguity, and take ownership to deliver meaningful outcomes
More importantly:
You have grit. Your energy and work ethic raises the bar of others
You prefer autonomy and ownership to rigid structure
You don't wait for perfect messaging — you test, iterate, refine
You are comfortable hearing "no" repeatedly without losing momentum
You care about building something meaningful, not just closing this quarter's deal
You hold yourself to a higher internal standard than anyone else will
People describe you as relentless, disciplined, competitive — but collaborative. You understand that building something valuable in a complex, regulated industry like insurance is both rewarding and uncomfortable.Pay Transparency Disclosure

Expel: Associate SOC Analyst
Company: Location: Remote Published: 2026-09-27
Headquarters: Remote
You’ve got the spark, the curiosity that makes you ask “why?” when others move on. You love solving puzzles, learning new tools, and understanding how things work (and how they break). Maybe you’ve done some hands-on IT work, tinkered with packet captures, or even caught yourself reading about the latest exploits for fun. If that sounds like you, you might be exactly who we’re looking for.
At Expel, we protect customers by thinking like attackers. Our analysts investigate alerts, dig through data, and communicate findings with empathy and precision. As an Associate SOC Analyst, you’ll be on the front lines of our Managed Detection & Response (MDR) service, helping detect, analyze, and respond to threats across diverse environments from endpoint to cloud.
This is more than an entry point, it’s a launch pad. We’ll train you, mentor you, and help you grow from your first alert triage to full-scale investigations. You’ll learn from expert analysts who’ve seen it all (and lived to meme about it). You’ll refine your craft in real-world scenarios, protecting real organizations, and making a visible impact.
What Expel Can Do For You
Analyze and investigate alerts to identify, assess, and respond to potential threats.
Collaborate with teammates and customer security teams to remediate incidents and strengthen defenses.
Conduct threat hunts and root-cause analysis to uncover attacker activity.
Take ownership of alert triage through the entire lifecycle—from detection to resolution.
Constantly look for ways to improve how we detect, defend, and deliver for our customers.
Participate in 24x7 rotational coverage, because attackers don’t sleep.
What You Can Do For Expel (With the help of training, of course)
Get you out of theory and into real security operations.
Surround you with seasoned mentors who want to see you succeed.
Offer training, tools, and hands-on experience to accelerate your career.
Immerse you in a collaborative, growth-minded culture that values curiosity, communication, and creativity.
Provide transparent pay, unlimited PTO, flexible work, and up to 24 weeks parental leave.
What You Should Bring With You
Integrity, curiosity, and a client-first mindset.
Strong written communication, you can adapt tone and detail whether you’re messaging a teammate or writing a customer report.
A fundamental understanding of TCP/IP, operating systems, and common network protocols.
Experience with Windows, macOS, and Linux systems, including command-line familiarity.
Awareness of cloud applications (O365, Okta) and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Familiarity with detection and response tools like SIEM, EDR, and IDS/IPS.
A curiosity about attacker techniques, the MITRE ATT&CK framework, and how defenders can outsmart them.
1–2 years of IT or security experience is preferred, but if you’ve got passion, potential, and a compelling story, we want to hear it.
Additional notes
The base salary range for this role is between $85,000 USD and $90,000 USD + 20% bonus (paid out quarterly) & equity.
We’re only hiring those authorized to work in the United States. We do not currently sponsor immigration visas.
We’re an Equal Opportunity Employer: You’ll receive consideration for employment without regard to race, sex, color, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or on the basis of disability.
We’ll ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment. Please let us know if you need accommodation of any kind.Salary Range$85,000—$90,000 USD
