Dropbox: Scaled Customer Success Manager
Company: Location: Remote Published: 2026-10-06
Headquarters: California
URL: https://www.dropbox.com/
Role Description
As a Scaled Customer Success Manager at Dropbox, you will drive adoption, value realization, and renewal readiness across a portfolio of mid-market and small business managed customers. You will use customer and product signals to identify where engagement can have the greatest impact, then deliver timely, relevant experiences through targeted campaigns, group programs, digital touchpoints, and selective personalized outreach.
You will play a central role in connecting our Programmatic and Digital Customer Success team with the Renewals Desk for scaled segment accounts. You will ensure customer health, sentiment, risk, and adoption signals translate into clear renewal-readiness actions, while identifying and qualifying customer-backed growth opportunities as Customer Success Qualified Leads (CSQLs) for handoff to Sales.
Within the scaled portfolio, you will provide more focused engagement for a priority group of customers and translate customer health, retention, renewal, and growth signals into regular executive-level updates that support forecasting and business decisions. You will also own shared inbound customer channels, ensuring questions and requests are triaged, resolved, or routed to the right partner with clear follow-through.
The successful candidate is a customer-focused operator who is equally comfortable analyzing a portfolio, building repeatable engagement programs, writing clear customer communications, and speaking directly with customers to understand their experience. You will bring recent experience managing or materially influencing customer renewals, including the ability to interpret retention metrics, identify churn and contraction risk, execute save plays, and surface customer-backed growth levers. You will help Dropbox scale Customer Success while retaining the judgment, curiosity, and customer voice that come from real customer conversations.
Responsibilities
Own adoption, customer health, and renewal readiness across a scaled customer portfolio, using lifecycle, product usage, engagement, sentiment, and retention signals to prioritize action and improve renewal outcomes.
Provide focused engagement for a priority group of customers, partnering closely with Renewal Managers and other account stakeholders to coordinate retention and growth actions and deliver regular executive-level portfolio and forecast updates for top accounts in the scaled portfolio.
Design and execute targeted campaigns and scaled touchpoints that help customers adopt key capabilities, realize value, prepare for renewal, and address common risks at the right moments in their journey.
Serve as the coordination point between Programmatic and Digital Customer Success and the Renewals Desk, ensuring timely handoffs, shared visibility, clear ownership, and coordinated save plays for customers with renewal-readiness gaps or identified churn and contraction risk.
Own and manage shared inbound customer email channels, triaging questions and requests, coordinating timely responses, and ensuring issues are resolved or routed to the appropriate partner with clear follow-through.
Use data to segment customers, identify patterns, test engagement strategies, measure impact, and continuously improve playbooks, content, workflows, and automation.
Engage customers directly when a focused 1:1 conversation is needed to validate a signal, understand sentiment, address risk, gather product feedback, or capture a representative customer example.
Synthesize customer voice across the portfolio and share actionable insights with Product, Marketing, Sales, Support, and Customer Experience partners to improve the product and customer journey.
Partner cross-functionally to operationalize repeatable customer programs, resolve gaps in the customer experience, and identify customer-backed growth levers such as broader adoption, new use cases, license utilization, or additional product fit. Qualify relevant opportunities as Customer Success Qualified Leads (CSQLs) and route them to Sales with clear customer context and supporting signals.
Requirements
4+ years of experience in B2B SaaS Customer Success, Account Management, Digital Customer Success, lifecycle programs, or a comparable post-sale customer role.
Recent experience directly managing or materially influencing customer renewals across a book of business, with measurable examples of save plays, churn or contraction mitigation, and retention outcomes.
Demonstrated success managing customer outcomes across a broad or high-volume portfolio through a combination of one-to-many programs and targeted 1:1 engagement.
Strong analytical judgment and fluency in SaaS retention metrics, including renewal rate, gross revenue retention, net revenue retention, churn, contraction, and expansion, with experience using those measures alongside customer signals to identify risk and growth levers.
Experience designing or executing customer lifecycle, adoption, retention, or renewal-readiness campaigns and measuring their impact on customer behavior or business outcomes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create clear customer-facing content and lead effective discovery or feedback conversations.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate across Customer Success, Renewals, Sales, and other teams, clarify ownership, and move shared retention and growth outcomes forward while managing concurrent programs and changing priorities.
Experience with Customer Success platforms, CRM systems, marketing automation, business intelligence tools, or related customer-data systems.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a Customer Success model that partners with a centralized Renewals Desk or specialized renewals team.
Experience facilitating webinars, office hours, group enablement, customer communities, or other one-to-many programs.
Experience applying test-and-learn methods to improve engagement, adoption, retention, or conversion outcomes.
Experience supporting collaboration, productivity, content, or AI-enabled SaaS products.
Durable Skills
AI fluency means using these tools to amplify human judgment, not replace it. We believe people with these skills will thrive as work and technology continue to evolve:
Awareness: Understand yourself and others.
Judgment: Evaluate information and make decisions in complex situations.
Adaptability: Learn, adjust, and stay effective through change.
Connection: Communicate, collaborate, and build trust.

Semaphore: Senior Product Engineer
Company: Location: Remote Published: 2026-10-06
Headquarters: Novi Sad
URL: https://semaphore.io/
About Semaphore
Semaphore is a remote-first software company building continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) products for engineering teams. Our customers rely on Semaphore Cloud and our self-hosted enterprise products to build, test, and deliver software securely and reliably.
We have spent years building developer infrastructure at scale. We are now using that foundation to create new products and capabilities for a world in which software is increasingly built by people working with AI coding agents.
About the role
We are looking for a senior product engineer who can take an important idea from an early, ambiguous problem to a useful product running in production.
You will work across product and engineering boundaries: understanding the user, shaping the solution, making technical decisions, building the system, and improving it based on real use. Some work will extend mature Semaphore products. Some will start as a small experiment or a new product. In either case, you will be responsible for getting to a strong outcome, not completing a predefined list of tickets.
AI coding agents are part of our daily engineering workflow. We expect you to use them fluently to explore, build, test, and ship faster. You remain accountable for the work: choosing the right problem, setting direction, making trade-offs, reviewing what is produced, and ensuring that the result is coherent, reliable, and maintainable.
This role is for someone with strong ownership, initiative, taste, and judgment. You should be comfortable moving between product questions, system design, code, infrastructure, and user experience as the work requires.
What you will own
Take product ideas from problem definition through design, implementation, rollout, and iteration, including experiments that may grow into standalone products.
Work directly with users and internal stakeholders to identify the real problem, decide what is worth building, and make pragmatic scope and architecture decisions.
Build across backend services, APIs, infrastructure-facing components, and focused frontend experiences, reusing proven Semaphore systems before introducing new infrastructure.
Use AI coding agents effectively while maintaining a high bar for correctness, security, clarity, and product quality.
Own the production outcome, including reliability, observability, supportability, and working within Semaphore's security and compliance requirements. Communicate decisions, progress, and risks clearly.
What we are looking for
A track record of independently shipping meaningful software products or major product capabilities.
Strong product judgment: you can identify the essential user problem, reduce unnecessary scope, and recognize when an experience is good enough to ship—or not good enough yet.
Strong engineering judgment across system design, implementation, reliability, and long-term maintainability.
Strong backend and systems fundamentals, including APIs, asynchronous processing, service boundaries, state and lifecycle management, retries, idempotency, and failure recovery.
Comfort with infrastructure concepts such as virtual machines, storage, networking, authentication, secrets, containers, and cloud platforms.
Ability to navigate a polyglot environment. Semaphore systems include Go, Elixir, Ruby, React, and related technologies; expertise in every language is not required.
Enough frontend capability to build or extend focused product user experiences without depending on a separate team for every change.
Fluency with modern AI-assisted development: decomposing work for agents, supplying useful context, reviewing generated changes, and building verification into the workflow.Initiative and persistence. You make progress with incomplete information, surface risks early, and bring in other people when their input will improve the result.
Strong written and spoken English and experience working independently in a remote, asynchronous team.
We care more about the quality and ownership of what you have built than a specific number of years, previous title, or exact match with our stack.
Nice to have
Experience building developer tools, CI/CD systems, cloud platforms, or infrastructure products.
Hands-on experience with distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
Experience evolving a mature codebase while introducing a new product or architecture alongside it.
Experience in a lean environment where senior engineers participate directly in product discovery and customer conversations.
What success looks like
Within your first three months:
You have taken ownership of a meaningful product problem and shipped a useful capability to production.
Your work shows good product taste, clear technical decisions, and disciplined scope.
You have learned enough of Semaphore's existing platform to reuse its strengths and avoid unnecessary reinvention.
You are using AI coding agents to increase your output while keeping the resulting systems understandable, tested, and reliable.
Product and engineering decisions move faster because you bring clear options, make sound calls, and follow through.
The team trusts you with an ambiguous new product or feature and expects you to drive it to a strong result.
How you will work
This is a senior individual-contributor role with broad ownership. You will work closely with engineering, product, infrastructure, and company leadership. Teams are small, communication is direct, and the person closest to the work is expected to exercise judgment.
You will have room to shape both the product and its implementation. In return, we expect you to take responsibility for the whole outcome: what gets built, why it matters, how well it works, and what happens after it ships.

Are you looking to start a side hustle in the e-commerce world? Dropshipping might just be the perfect option for you! Dropshipping is a popular e-commerce business model that allows you to sell products to customers without holding any inventory. Instead, when a customer makes a purchase from your online store, you purchase the product from a third party and have it shipped directly to the customer. This means you can run an e-commerce business from anywhere in the world without the need to worry about stocking or shipping products yourself.
