Happyco: Senior Product Designer, Mobile Experience
Company: Location: Remote Published: 2026-08-18
Headquarters: Remote (AU)
HappyCo is a company where people can grow their careers and work with like minded people, with no egos or politics. HappyCo is values driven and offers a flexible, supportive culture. Join HappyCo and Make Work Happy! Sitting within HappyCoâs mobile product team, the Senior Product Designer, Mobile Experience focuses on the tools frontline property teams use every day to conduct inspections, complete preventive maintenance, resolve work orders, and capture highâquality property data directly from the field. These experiences must work under pressure, in poor connectivity, and with little tolerance for friction. You will own complex mobile workflows end to end â from discovery through delivery and beyond launch â working as part of a product triad alongside the teamâs Product Manager and Engineering Lead. Together, you will help define the teamâs roadmap, priorities, and trade-offs in alignment with company goals, product strategy, and long-term vision. Within this triad, you will be responsible for shaping how emerging technologies, particularly AIâpowered experiences, reduce effort, improve accuracy, and accelerate outcomes for frontline users and the businesses they support. The work requires high autonomy, speed, and a willingness to break down silos across product areas to deliver cohesive, scalable experiences. The role suits a designer who demonstrates highâimpact judgment and broad ownership, operating independently regardless of title or formal level. It calls for comfort with experimentation, thoughtful use of AI to increase both user value and internal efficiency, and a dayâtoâday commitment to customer obsession. With direct access to thousands of daily mobile users, success depends on turning customer exposure into visible, actionable insight and regularly sharing patterns and outcomes with teams across HappyCo to inform decisions beyond the mobile surface. What You'll Do | Design Ownership & ImpactOwn and evolve core mobile workflows used daily by maintenance and property teams in the field.Co-author and articulate a clear mobile product experience vision in partnership with Product Management and Design Leadership, and act as a long-term champion for that vision as the product evolves.Design for real-world constraints: offline usage, unreliable connectivity, performance limitations, device variability, and speed under pressure.Identify and drive improvements across product boundaries, not just within a single product team or feature.Translate complex operational problems into simple, resilient, mobile-first solutions. What You'll Do | Customer ObsessionDevelop a deep understanding of how maintenance technicians, asset managers, and property managers actually work, rather than how we assume they work.Run timely, pragmatic research including interviews, usability testing, and lightweight validation loops.Bring real customer context, such as quotes, workflows, edge cases, and observed behaviours, into everyday product discussions.Balance customer needs with business goals, technical constraints, and operational realities.Challenge solutions that are technically impressive or user-friendly in isolation but misaligned with business outcomes or strategic priorities. What You'll Do | Design Execution & SpeedDesign, prototype, test, and iterate quickly using high-fidelity mobile prototypes.Leverage AI-driven tools to accelerate ideation, exploration, validation, synthesis, and delivery as part of your daily workflow.Balance speed with judgment, delivering work that is high quality, scalable, and grounded in evidence.Deliver meaningful customer-facing improvements within your first month. What You'll Do | Product Signals & InsightOwn the design perspective on mobile product instrumentation, ensuring key workflows are measurable and observable.Partner with Product and Engineering to define meaningful mobile UX metrics (e.g. task completion, time-on-task, drop-offs, retries, adoption).Regularly monitor and analyze product usage data to identify patterns, friction points, and emerging behaviours.Translate insights into clear hypotheses and concrete design actions.Validate whether shipped changes improve outcomes and iterate based on evidence. What You'll Do | Making Customer Insight VisibleRegularly synthesize and share customer insights from mobile usage data, research, and field feedback with the design team, product partners, and the wider organization.Surface patterns and themes, not just isolated findings, to keep teams grounded in real customer needs.Act as a strong, evidence-backed voice for the customer in cross-functional conversations.Create lightweight, repeatable ways for teams to stay close to mobile customers, even when they are not directly involved in the work.Use insights to influence priorities and follow-up actions. What You'll Do | Collaboration, Craft & CulturePartner closely with Product Managers and Mobile Engineers to define scope, navigate trade-offs, and deliver outcomes.Work closely with Design Leadership to shape and evolve the mobile product experience vision, aligning day-to-day execution with longer-term direction.Bring clarity to ambiguity and momentum to complex or stalled problem spaces.Contribute to and strengthen HappyCoâs mobile design system, based on Material 3 and extended through a custom HappyCo theme.Participate actively in Product Design team critiques and formal UX reviews, offering and receiving direct, high-signal feedback.Help raise the bar for design quality, speed, and customer focus across the team. What You BringTypically 8â10+ years of experience in product design, or equivalent demonstrated impact owning complex, real-world products.Strong product instincts and high personal standards for quality, outcomes, and pace.Proven experience owning end-to-end mobile product design in complex, real-world environments.A portfolio that demonstrates depth of thinking, clear problem framing, and measurable impact.Comfort operating with ambiguity and taking initiative without waiting for permission.A demonstrated habit of monitoring your work after launch and acting on what you learn.Ability to plan and run lightweight user research independently, including interviews, usability testing, and rapid feedback loops.Good judgment around when to go deep on research vs when fast validation is sufficient, balancing rigor with pace, and familiarity with using research platforms (e.g. Great Question or similar) to manage recruitment, insights, and follow-up.Strong business and product acumen, with the ability to weigh customer value against business impact, delivery cost, and strategic trade-offs.Comfort engaging in technical discussions, reading code when helpful, and collaborating closely with engineers on feasibility and implementation details.Willingness to collaborate across time zones (Australia & North America), including regular early morning starts to meaningfully connect with customers and colleagues during shared working hours.Strongly ValuedExperience designing B2B or operational mobile products (e.g. field tools, logistics, inspections, healthcare, fintech).A track record of breaking silos and influencing outcomes beyond your immediate scope.Hands-on experience using AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor, Lovable, Figma Make, or similar) to accelerate design, prototyping, research synthesis, and insight generation.Familiarity with mobile platform constraints (Flutter, iOS / Android patterns, performance, accessibility).Experience working closely with engineers, including willingness to dive into implementation details or code when useful.Exposure to analytics or adoption tooling (e.g. Gainsight, Adora or similar) and using data to guide iteration.Strong synthesis and communication skills, with the ability to make insights visible and actionable for different audiences. Why Join HappyCo?Make an Impact: Your work will reach millions of residents and thousands of property teams.Culture of BRANDOG Digital: Senior Digital Marketing Manager - Paid Social
Company: Location: Remote Published: 2026-08-18
Headquarters: United States
URL: https://www.brandogdigital.com/
Location: Remote (US, Canada or Latin America)Type: Contract / FTE EquivalentStart: Immediately
The Role
We're seeking an experienced Senior Digital Marketing Manager to own a pod of paid social DTC accounts end to end: strategy, buying, and client relationship. You'll work directly alongside the founders to shape how we grow our clients' businesses and our agency's capabilities, while mentoring junior team members and drawing on them for support. Your primary responsibility will be your pod of accounts, and you will also assist the founders across the business with other clients as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Whole-Business Performance
You evaluate accounts through blended CAC, contribution of paid to total revenue, new-vs-returning mix, and retention signals, and you make day-to-day decisions off real performance. Forecasts are a guide and the actual numbers drive your decision-making. You can explain why platform ROAS alone is a bad compass.
Campaign Strategy & Execution
Develop and own full-funnel paid media strategies across Meta (plus potentially TikTok, Pinterest, and other platforms as needed)
Set monthly targets grounded in the client's actual CPA and funded budget, adjusting as reality comes in
Hands-on platform execution: budget allocation, pacing, scaling, and cutting based on performance and client KPIs
Lead campaign setup, launch, ongoing optimization, and performance analysis across your pod
Analytics & Reporting
Own client-facing performance reporting â translating data into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations
Build and maintain advanced dashboards using Google Sheets, Supermetrics, and similar tools
Conduct regular account audits to identify growth and efficiency opportunities
Establish and track KPIs, benchmarks, and forecasting models across accounts
Creative Strategy
Translate revenue goals into a plan for what the creative team needs to produce, and when
Analyze creative performance and use data to inform iteration cycles and testing roadmaps
Build and manage structured A/B testing frameworks across creative
Client & Team Leadership
Serve as a primary point of contact for key client accounts, building trust through proactive communication and strategic guidance
Lead client status calls and strategy presentations with a clear, confident perspective
Deliver difficult news clearly and present paths to a solution
Mentor and provide day-to-day guidance to Marketing Analysts and junior team members
Collaborate with founders on agency operations, new business pitches, and process improvements
How the Ramp Works
The timeline is quick, but the ramp is structured and gradual â we make sure you're confident before you take over, then expect you to run it day to day, with founders staying involved at the strategic level.
Months 1â2: Take over buying and strategy on your starting pod with founder oversight, shadowing then co-leading client calls.
Months 3â4: Lead calls solo as founders step back to strategic oversight.
We'll know it's working if by month four, your pod runs seamlessly through you, and you're handling day-to-day calls, strategy, and buying.
How We Work
You'll work directly with the founders who've built the systems you'll run. We give you the context, tools, and information you need, then we expect you to be independent and trust you to run with it. You arrive with the paid marketing knowledge, and we help you sharpen how you apply it.
We have a defined way of operating â performance-led planning, a structured creative cadence, specific views on measurement â refined across years of DTC accounts. The best people we've worked with bring their own judgment and look to understand why our system works the way it does. That combination is what we're hiring for.
Requirements
Several years of hands-on paid media buying on Meta (other platforms a plus) for DTC/e-commerce at meaningful spend, with accounts you can walk through in detail (what you did, why, and what happened)
Proven track record of managing and scaling paid media budgets with measurable results
Fluency in whole-business marketing math: blended CAC, paid contribution to overall revenue, new-vs-returning dynamics
Client-facing maturity: you can carry a strategy call, deliver difficult news, and build trust over time
Self-directed: you take direction and apply it independently, and you surface problems early instead of sitting on them
Strong command of analytics platforms and experience building data dashboards
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills â able to present complex data clearly to non-technical stakeholders
Experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously with the ability to prioritize effectively under pressure
Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and motivate junior team members
Available across the full US business day; if US-based, must contract through your own business entity
Familiarity with TikTok Ads, Pinterest Ads, and other social platforms is a plus
Compensation
Competitive for senior operators, calibrated to experience and location.
