We bring that mindset into the work we do every day. The Knock Bridge Loan™ empowers homebuyers to ‘buy before they sell’, by unlocking the equity in their current home, giving them greater convenience, certainty, and competitiveness.
Founded in 2015, Knock has grown into a trusted partner for thousands of homebuyers and a network of 60,000+ loan officers and agents across the country. Backed by top investors like Foundry Group, Trinity Capital, and the National Association of Realtors, we’ve built a reputation for innovation and trust, earning 900+ five-star Zillow and Trustpilot reviews and an A+ BBB rating.
Join our growing team and help shape the future of homebuying! To learn more, visit Knock.comManager, Account Executives – Remote, anywhere in the US
About the Role
Knock is looking for a hands-on sales manager to lead a team of fully remote Account Executives. You will be accountable for your team hitting its monthly targets for leads and loan applications.
Knock originates the Knock Bridge Loan™ — the first-of-its-kind product that allows homeowners to tap into their current home's equity to buy their next one before selling. You will run the day: coach your team, inspect the pipeline, hold the standard, and make sure every AE can position the product against the alternatives and win.
What You'll Do
Own your team's number — outreach activity, leads, conversion, and loan application volume against monthly targets
Coach your team through weekly 1:1s, pipeline reviews, and live feedback on calls and partner meetings
Hold each AE to their production standard, and act early when someone falls off pace
Run the weekly cadence of pipeline review, activity inspection, and forecast submission, giving sales leadership an accurate read on where the month lands
Onboard and ramp new AEs to productivity on a defined timeline
Interview and hire Account Executives, and build a candidate pipeline ahead of open roles
Equip the team to position the Knock Bridge Loan™ against the alternatives and handle cost, rate, and timing objections from both the partner and the borrower
Ensure the team represents Knock's partner lender relationships correctly, including compliant framing of introductions where the partner lender retains the forward mortgage
Maintain pipeline accuracy and data hygiene in MeridianLink Mortgage (MLM)
Escalate systemic blockers — lead quality, product gaps, operational friction — to sales leadership with the evidence behind them
Partner with Lending Operations and Underwriting to keep applications moving once submitted
What You'll Bring
Proven success carrying a team number, not just a personal quota
Proven ability to coach sellers — able to diagnose whether an AE's problem is activity, targeting, or skill, and fix it
Working knowledge of how loan officers, team leads, and branch managers make decisions, and what converts them into producing partners
Ability to sell the product yourself and model the pitch in front of a partner
Comfort inspecting pipeline and activity data, and acting on what it shows
Willingness to give direct feedback and hold a standard consistently across a team
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to represent Knock externally to partners
A deep belief in fostering inclusive, equitable practices that reflect Knock's core values
Proven success in a fully remote, distributed team environment
Recent lending experience required
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of sales or business development experience in mortgage, real estate, or proptech, including at least 2 years leading or formally mentoring a sales team
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience
We encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every listed qualification. We value potential, growth mindset, and diverse experiences.
Physical Requirements
Set up and constantly operate a computer.
Communicate and exchange accurate information to others via telephone or internet video applications.
Must be able to travel, including overnight travel at least 4 times per year
Must be able to lift, carry and push up to 20 lbs.
The candidate must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

About the Role
Knock is looking for a proven sales leader to own the performance and growth of Knock's Account Executive organization. You will be accountable for delivering the company plan for leads and loan applications across Account Executives, Senior Account Executives, and Wholesale Account Executives.
Knock originates the Knock Bridge Loan™, which enables homeowners to use the money tied up in their current home to purchase their next one — buy before you sell. You will choose the partner segments worth pursuing, set the coverage model, own the positioning against every alternative in the market, and sharpen the team that delivers the volume.
What You'll Do
Own the AE organization's number — outreach activity, leads, conversion, and loan application volume against the company plan
Set and defend the team's production standards, and revisit them as the lead mix and product set evolve
Hire, develop, coach, and hold accountable the Account Executive team
Own AE onboarding and ramp as a repeatable program with measurable time-to-productivity
Own org design and the territory and coverage model, and build the AE headcount plan with Finance
Maintain distinct playbooks for retail lending partners and for the broader lender and agent set, rather than forcing a single motion across both
Design and evaluate AE compensation plans in partnership with the People team and Finance, grounded in applications generated and modeled against cost of sale
Deliver an accurate rolling forecast to the leadership team, and run the pipeline and forecast cadence behind it
Serve as the company's subject matter expert on the Account Executive channel — turning partner and borrower feedback into product, marketing, and lending operations changes, and driving adoption of those changes in the field
What You'll Bring
Experience: Minimum of 8 years of sales or business development experience in mortgage, real estate, or proptech, including at least 4 years leading sales teams
Track record of hiring, coaching, and developing sellers into consistent performers
Demonstrated ownership of a sales number, with a track record of growing lead and application volume while forecasting accurately against plan
Deep understanding of how to sell into retail lending — how loan officers, team leads, and branch managers make decisions, and what moves them: closing clients stuck in the process, excluding the departing property from DTI, and winning offers with no home sale contingency — and the ability to turn that into the playbooks, training, and coaching the team runs on
Ability to set the positioning strategy for a Buy Before You Sell product — including the case to lenders that Knock is a bridge to a mortgage they retain — and how the team handles cost, rate, and timing objections from both the lending partner and the borrower
Command of the competitive landscape, with the judgment to keep Knock's positioning ahead of the alternatives and to equip the team to sell against them
Experience designing or materially influencing sales compensation plans that drive the right selling behavior
Strong analytical judgment — comfortable building the model, reading the data, and acting on what it says
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to brief leadership and represent Knock externally to partners
A deep belief in fostering inclusive, equitable practices that reflect Knock's core values
Proven success in a fully remote, distributed team environment

Compensation is based on factors unique to each candidate, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, qualification, education, experience, and location. At Gong, we have a location-based compensation structure, which means there may be a different range for candidates in other locations. The total compensation package for this position, in addition to base compensation, may include incentive compensation, bonus, equity, and benefits. Some of our sales compensation programs also offer the potential to achieve above targeted earnings for those who exceed their sales targets.
We are always looking for outstanding Gongsters! So if this sounds like something that interests you regardless of compensation, please reach out. We may have more roles for you to consider and would love to connect.
We have noticed a rise in recruiting impersonations across the industry, where scammers attempt to access candidates' personal and financial information through fake interviews and offers. All Gong recruiting email communications will always come from the @gong.io domain. Any outreach claiming to be from Gong via other sources should be ignored.
Gong is an equal-opportunity employer. We believe that diversity is integral to our success, and do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, military status, genetic information, or any other basis protected by applicable law.
