Who we are
About Stripe
Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world's largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.
About the team
The Onboarding and Compliance Risk Strategy team serves as a key risk management function that partners with product, engineering, and cross-functional teams to bring products to market safely and responsibly. We're seeking a strategic-minded and collaborative risk professional to build and scale the risk management and compliance foundations for our Financial Account products, our new and existing credit products, and the global payment networks that power them.
What you'll do
Stripe is building new products that expand the scope of problems we tackle beyond payments and into the rest of the financial stack. Right now this includes Capital, Financial Accounts, and Issuing—and there's more on the way. Stripe is a technology company that operates within the financial services industry, and you'll need to be comfortable straddling both of those worlds every day. You'll thrive working at the intersection of an emerging sector and a traditional industry, seeking creative solutions to traditional problems, and enabling the business responsibly while moving with urgency and focus. We're currently hiring for two roles, one with a focus on lending products and another with the focus on global payment networks. If you have experience with either and meet the below qualifications, please apply.
Responsibilities
Partner with Product, Engineering, and 2LOD teams to design and implement data-driven, risk-based KYC/KYB frameworks and compliance controls for our Financial Account, Capital, and Issuing products.
Design and document compliant, scalable funds flow models for global payment networks (e.g., SEPA, FPS, ACH, RTP), translating complex network rules into technical requirements for engineering teams.
Develop and maintain technical compliance documentation, translating complex regulatory requirements (e.g., U.S. lending laws, payment network rules) into actionable guidance for product and engineering teams.
Manage relationships and drive alignment across a wide range of cross-functional stakeholders, including Legal, Customer Support, Partnerships, and 2LOD Compliance, ensuring all voices are heard and decisions are made effectively.
Engage directly with external financial partners, presenting Stripe compliance controls and strategy to build trust and confidence.
Extend your expertise to new regions and payment schemes, learning new regulatory and technical landscapes to enable international expansion.
Utilize data to inform risk strategy, compliance solutions, and decision-making by sourcing and analyzing product and user data to measure control effectiveness.
Who you are
We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.
Minimum requirements
5 years of professional experience in compliance, product risk, technical compliance, audit, or similar risk roles at a FinTech, payment provider, or bank.
Proven experience designing and implementing risk-based KYC and KYB programs for business or merchant onboarding.
Proven experience working at a technical level with product managers and engineers, with an ability to design solutions and write technical requirements documentation.
Demonstrated success in managing complex projects with numerous cross-functional stakeholders, driving consensus, and managing expectations.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging directly with external partners and instilling confidence.
Experience sourcing and using data to analyze problems, inform strategic decisions, and measure control effectiveness.
Ability to tackle ambiguous situations and operate efficiently and independently in a fast-paced, high-volume, and technology-driven environment.
Respect for and interest in financial rules and regulations, as well as an eagerness to innovate and drive the financial technology industry forward.
Preferred qualifications
Deep experience with US financial regulations, particularly those impacting lending, consumer compliance (e.g., TILA, ECOA, UDAP/UDAAP, Fair Lending), and financial crimes (e.g., CIP/CDD) OR a strong technical and operational understanding of payment network funds flows for major schemes such as SEPA, FPS (UK), ACH (US), and RTP (US).
Proficiency with SQL for sourcing and analyzing data.
Proficiency using AI tools to automate document writing, assist in research and analysis, and support recommendations.
Familiarity with digital assets, cryptocurrency, and stablecoin-based payment and settlement flows.
Experience applying regional compliance expertise to new markets.

Job description

Who we are
About Stripe
Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career.
About the team
As Stripe continues to develop innovative products that serve businesses of all sizes, risk will increase in complexity and scale. The Industry Expansion Strategy team protects Stripe's business and mission by building the policies, frameworks, and practices that enable Stripe to support businesses in complex, highly regulated industries. As Stripe expands into new markets and products, we unlock revenue, advance trust, and set the standard for what responsible growth looks like at scale.
What you’ll do
Stripe's financial infrastructure only works if merchants can trust it—and that trust depends on us staying ahead of card network requirements. The Industry Expansion Strategy team owns that problem globally. As part of the team, you'll be the person who ensures our merchant portfolio stays compliant with Visa, Mastercard, and other card network rules as Stripe scales globally.
This isn't a passive monitoring role. You'll work directly with Sales, merchants, card networks, and internal Risk and Compliance teams to catch issues early, fix them fast, and build processes that move Stripe ahead.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about navigating ambiguity, enabling business growth while balancing risk, and is skilled at identifying ways to improve user experience.
Responsibilities
Own oversight of merchant risk management processes for Payment Facilitators, Marketplaces, and other Third-Party Agents and Servicers, including preparing merchants for card network registration, managing network reporting requirements, and conducting periodic reviews and user remediations
Partner with internal teams to design compliance strategies that support Stripe's global expansion without creating major downstream risks
Embed within first-line teams, particularly Sales and Product, to train sellers to develop the judgment to catch gaps and position Risk as a business enabler
Build new processes and enhance existing processes to optimize for efficiency and automation, manage incoming non-compliance escalations from partners, and monitor our portfolio against rules and requirements
Perform research and analysis to assess Stripe's current market position and develop and prioritize long-term strategic plans for future growth
Challenge the status quo and provide multiple alternative solutions and key execution criteria
Execute special projects and ad hoc analyses as initiatives, products, risks, and opportunities are constantly evolving
Who you are
We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.
Minimum requirements
5+ years of professional experience in a related role in Payments or FinTech industries, including experience with card network compliance
Familiarity with banking and money movement regulations, including KYC and KYB, AML OFAC compliance, and credit and fraud risk
Experience overseeing design execution and delivery of highly strategic programs
Proven ability to take complex issues and turn them into actionable next steps, hold others accountable, and meet deadlines
Data-driven problem-solving skills, including the ability to distill complex, ambiguous regulatory issues into clear, concise, and reliable guidance for stakeholders and Stripe users
Demonstrated track record of deriving insights from complex or technical problem spaces and evangelizing actionable product recommendations
Strong stakeholder management skills and operating rigor, including the ability to take ownership, be accountable, and lead without formal authority to navigate ambiguity and solve problems with the end user in mind
Entrepreneurial and curious mindset, including motivation to develop deep subject matter expertise and understanding of risk-based frameworks
Strong operating rigor, executive presence, and presentation skills, including experience engaging with leadership
Experience in a client-facing role managing relationships with large, global organizations
Preferred Qualifications
Strong desire to work in a fast-paced and innovative environment
A strong understanding of Stripe's business and products and an ability to research and self-start

Who we are
About Stripe

Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.
About the team
The Financial Crimes Risk Strategy team owns our first-line AML and sanctions programs globally. We own the end-to-end lifecycle of financial crime controls. We set the global standards that govern how risk is managed across our programs, design and drive the development of controls, infrastructure, and tooling with Engineering, Product, and Data Science, and maintain their effectiveness as our products and the regulatory landscape evolve. We build fast, with data, and with AI integrated into how financial crime risk is detected, managed, and monitored across everything Stripe builds.
What you'll do
As a Risk Strategist on the Financial Crimes Risk Strategy team, you'll own our global screening programs — spanning sanctions, PEP, and negative news — setting the standards that govern how screening risk is managed, designing and driving the controls that operationalize those standards, and ensuring they remain effective as our products and the regulatory landscape evolve. Being effective in this role means going deep on both the domain and the data — we don't separate the two.
You'll partner closely with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Compliance, Legal, other Risk Strategy functions, and Operations to ensure screening considerations are embedded in every product and market decision. Beyond protecting against risk, you'll drive innovation in how Stripe approaches screening — staying ahead of regulatory change and pushing the boundaries of what effective, scalable financial crime risk management looks like at a global payments company.
Responsibilities
Lead our global sanctions and AML screening strategy — setting the standards that drive screening control design and infrastructure development, and translating requirements across OFAC, EU, UN, OFSI, and other applicable regimes, PEP screening, and negative news screening into actionable first-line programs and controls
Own the design and ongoing improvement of financial crime controls — including sanctions screening, PEP screening, negative news screening, and digital asset-related safeguards — while continuously improving detection coverage and control performance as our products and the threat landscape evolve
Embed screening risk requirements into product and infrastructure roadmaps — ensuring financial crime considerations drive product launches, market expansions, and platform decisions across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Compliance, Legal, and Operations
Drive screening infrastructure and tooling forward by owning requirements, leading execution, and maintaining effectiveness metrics for screening systems and controls — building with observability by design and ensuring key performance indicators, key risk indicators, and monitoring thresholds are defined from inception
Continuously assess and improve screening controls and systems — identifying gaps, recommending enhancements that strengthen detection effectiveness and anticipate regulatory or ecosystem changes, and leading delivery of those enhancements end-to-end
Champion a technology-forward approach to financial crime risk management — leveraging AI tools, self-serve data analytics, and model governance best practices to improve how risk is detected, monitored, and managed at Stripe
Stay informed on industry practices and regulatory developments and represent our sanctions and AML programs to regulators, bank and network partners, and external auditors
Who you are
We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.
Minimum requirements
7+ years of professional experience in financial services, payments, or fintech, with at least 5 years in a related role (risk, compliance, or product enablement)
Deep subject matter expertise in global sanctions compliance, including hands-on experience with OFAC, EU sanctions regimes, UN Security Council designations, OFSI, and other major global frameworks
Demonstrated strong understanding of screening program design and control execution
Strong AML screening expertise — proven ability to design, implement, and operationalize PEP screening and negative news screening programs in complex, multi-jurisdiction environments
Proven ability to design, implement, and operationalize financial crime standards and controls in complex, global organizations
Familiarity with model governance concepts — including model documentation, performance monitoring, and validation — and experience leading or contributing to model governance activities
Preferred qualifications
Experience leading transformative AML, Sanctions, or Transaction Monitoring initiatives, including global screening program design or transformations (e.g., vendor selection, watchlist management, false positive tuning)
Proficiency with SQL and ability to independently mine and analyze data to develop risk insights and inform strategy
Experience with crypto or digital asset products and their associated financial crime risk and regulatory considerations
Advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CAMS, CGSS, CFCS)

About the job
This position is needed to evolve our global Product Catalog platform. You will lead the development of foundational data models, API syndication layers, and internal tools defining how Twilio products are packaged and launched. Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
Define Unified Strategy & Taxonomy: Architect and execute a comprehensive product roadmap for a centralized, multi-tenant product catalog service that scales across Twilio's global infrastructure. Architectural Acumen: Extreme comfort working directly with principal engineers on complex database schema designs, graph databases, data entity relationships, attribute modeling, and downstream service propagation times.

What Makes Cloudflare Special?
We’re not just a highly ambitious, large-scale technology company. We’re a highly ambitious, large-scale technology company with a soul. Fundamental to our mission to help build a better Internet is protecting the free and open Internet.
Project Galileo: Since 2014, we've equipped more than 2,400 journalism and civil society organizations in 111 countries with powerful tools to defend themselves against attacks that would otherwise censor their work, technology already used by Cloudflare’s enterprise customers--at no cost.
Athenian Project: In 2017, we created the Athenian Project to ensure that state and local governments have the highest level of protection and reliability for free, so that their constituents have access to election information and voter registration. Since the project, we've provided services to more than 425 local government election websites in 33 states.
1.1.1.1: We released 1.1.1.1 to help fix the foundation of the Internet by building a faster, more secure and privacy-centric public DNS resolver. This is available publicly for everyone to use - it is the first consumer-focused service Cloudflare has ever released. Here’s the deal - we don’t store client IP addresses never, ever. We will continue to abide by our privacy commitment and ensure that no user data is sold to advertisers or used to target consumers.
Sound like something you’d like to be a part of? We’d love to hear from you!
Please note that applicants who progress to the offer stage of the interview process may be asked to attend an in-person interview within one of the Cloudflare Offices or Cloudflare Hubs. More details about this will be available at that stage of the interview process.

Job description
Headquarters: US Remote
Who we are
About Stripe
Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world's largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.
About the team
The Privacy Operations team is a pivotal part of the global privacy program at Stripe. Our vision is operational excellence—a team that is proactive, streamlined, and deeply embedded in the way Stripe works. Privacy Operations is the authoritative operational hub for privacy processes, enabling high-quality privacy experiences for users and data subjects, and owning clear and auditable documentation for internal stakeholders and external regulators. We partner with Privacy Legal and Privacy Engineering to protect user data.
What you'll do
In this role, you'll own the programs central to how Stripe handles privacy at scale. You'll drive end-to-end management across data subject requests, privacy impact assessments, records of processing activities, transfer impact assessments, and cookie compliance, making day-to-day decisions that keep operations regulatory-ready and auditable. You'll also identify where processes can be tightened or automated, and build the documentation and tooling that make the team's work consistent and sustainable.
You'll work as a key connector between Privacy Legal, Privacy Engineering, and cross-functional partners across the company, translating global privacy requirements into practical operations. As a primary point of contact for incoming privacy requests, you'll handle triage and routing, and build the playbooks and response libraries that allow the team to deliver high-quality, consistent privacy experiences for Stripe users and for the regulators who depend on clear, auditable records.
Responsibilities
Own end-to-end program management across core privacy programs such as data subject requests (DSRs), PIAs and DPIAs, records of processing activities (ROPA), transfer impact assessments (TIAs), and cookie compliance, making day-to-day operational decisions, enforcing processes to ensure regulatory readiness, and measuring compliance at scale
Identify and implement process improvements, including leveraging AI tooling to automate routine tasks, developing structured workflows to sustain quality standards, and maintaining accurate, auditable program records including playbooks and process documentation
Create and maintain clear, auditable privacy documentation, including privacy assessments, program playbooks, and customer response libraries, to provide scalable, consistent privacy operational support
Work with Privacy Legal and Privacy Engineering to fulfill user requests, build and deepen expertise on global privacy and data-protection requirements, and escalate novel or complex requests with appropriate context and documentation
Rotate through the team's weekly runner model as the primary point of contact for incoming privacy requests, routing across intake channels and managing Jira run tickets
Who you are
We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.
Minimum requirements
5+ years of demonstrated privacy program management and a proven track record of operationalizing and scaling cross-functional organization-wide programs from the ground up
Excellent collaboration, communication, and relationship-building skills, and the ability to convey complex ideas succinctly to all audiences
Demonstrated experience with privacy legislation such as GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, and PIPEDA. Experience with US state legislation, HIPAA, and GLBA is a plus.
Hands-on experience with privacy impact assessments (PIAs and DPIAs), data subject request workflows, records of processing activities (ROPA), or other core privacy program operations
Ability to analyze complex problems to identify root causes and trends, and to document complex narratives in a simplified way that others can use
Curious and self-motivated with a strong affinity for vision setting, strategic problem solving, and driving outcomes
Experienced in juggling multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, with tight timelines and shifting priorities
A team player, willing to pitch in where needed
Preferred qualifications
Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments. Previous tech industry experience is a plus.
Demonstrated experience using AI to accelerate day-to-day privacy operations work
Experience with third-party risk management, RFP and DDQ response processes, or cross-border transfer assessments
Privacy certification such as CIPP/E, CIPP/US, or CIPM is a plus
