Senior Database Reliability Engineer

Company Company not specified

Location not specified Published
Job description
CloudLinux / TuxCare is a remote-first infrastructure and security company. More than 300 engineers build and operate products used by hosting providers, enterprises, and internal service teams worldwide. Our Infrastructure Department runs the platforms behind CloudLinux OS, Imunify, KernelCare, TuxCare ELS, and our engineering systems. We are hiring a Senior Database Reliability Engineer to join the Infrastructure DBA cell. This is a hands-on production ownership role, not a narrow ticket-processing DBA position. You will keep critical database services reliable, automate repeated work, support engineering teams, and reduce single-person dependency in our PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, MongoDB, and Redis operations.PostgreSQL is the main requirement. ClickHouse experience is a strong plus, but it is not a day-one blocker. We need a senior engineer with enough database, Linux, automation, and incident-response depth to learn our ClickHouse environment quickly and operate it safely.Your Responsibilities:Own production PostgreSQL reliability: HA design, Patroni, PgBouncer, replication, failover, upgrades, vacuum/bloat control, query tuning, locks, indexes, capacity, backups, PITR, and restore validation.Improve disaster recovery and operational evidence: tested restores, documented recovery paths, measurable RTO/RPO targets, runbooks, and safe maintenance plans.Support the wider database estate: ClickHouse, MongoDB, and Redis. You will troubleshoot incidents, review access and data-safety changes, improve monitoring, and learn the production ClickHouse patterns already in use.Automate DBA workflows with Ansible, Terraform/OpenTofu, GitLab CI/CD, scripts, and reproducible runbooks for provisioning, grants, backups, restores, health checks, and ownership metadata.Help build DBaaS-style self-service capabilities so engineering teams can request databases, access, credentials, and operational checks with less manual DBA intervention.Improve observability and incident response through Grafana, metrics, logs, SLOs, alert rules, Opsgenie routing, and clear communication during production issues. What Success Looks Like:PostgreSQL clusters have tested backup and restore paths, useful dashboards, clear ownership, and documented failover procedures.Repeated DBA tickets become automation or self-service workflows.ClickHouse operational knowledge is no longer a single-person dependency.Database incidents have owners, runbooks, evidence, and measurable recovery paths.Product and engineering teams get database help faster without sacrificing safety, auditability, or reliability. Why CloudLinux? You will work on real production infrastructure used across CloudLinux and TuxCare products. You will have a direct impact on reliability, incident response, developer experience, and operational resilience. You will also work in an AI-assisted engineering culture where automation, documentation, Claude, Codex, and careful human verification are part of the daily operating model. What We Expect From You:Deep hands-on PostgreSQL experience in business-critical production environments, typically 5+ years or equivalent depth.Strong understanding of PostgreSQL internals and operations: MVCC, WAL, transactions, locks, indexes, query planning, replication, autovacuum, bloat, major upgrades, backups, PITR, and restore testing.Proven experience with highly available databases and the ability to reason about quorum, split-brain risk, failover, rollback, and recovery.Strong Linux and infrastructure fundamentals: systemd, networking, storage, filesystems, CPU/memory/disk bottlenecks, TLS, DNS, firewalls, and root-cause troubleshooting.Automation skills with Ansible and scripting. Terraform/OpenTofu, GitLab CI/CD, and merge-request based delivery are strong advantages.Ability to support more than one database engine. You do not need to be a ClickHouse expert on day one, but you must be ready to learn it quickly and take responsibility for it.Practical use of AI engineering assistants such as Claude and Codex. We expect you to use them to improve speed and quality, while personally verifying generated SQL, commands, scripts, and operational conclusions.Clear written English for asynchronous work in Jira, Slack, GitLab, Slite, and runbooks.Nice to Have:ClickHouse operations: replication, Keeper/ZooKeeper, MergeTree engines, distributed DDL, grants, row policies, backups, query troubleshooting, and cluster recovery.MongoDB replica sets and Percona Backup for MongoDB.Redis/Sentinel and broker/cache failure modes.Database observability, SLOs, golden signals, alert tuning, and executable incident runbooks.Building internal platforms, self-service portals, or DBaaS workflows for engineering teams. What's in it for you?A focus on professional development.Interesting and challenging projects.Fully remote work with flexible working hours, which allows you to schedule your day and work from any location worldwide.Paid 24 days of vacation per year, 10 days of national holidays, and unlimited sick leaves.Compensation for private medical insurance.Co-working and gym/sports reimbursement.Budget for education. The opportunity to receive a reward for the most innovative idea that the company can patent.By applying for this position, you agree with CloudLinux Privacy Policy and give us your consent to maintain and process your personal data with this respect. Flosum: Senior Product Manager, Salesforce Platform

Company Company not specified

Location not specified Published
Job description
Headquarters: California, United States The OpportunityFlosum is looking for a visionary Senior Product Manager who lives and breathes the Salesforce ecosystem and wants to shape the future of how the world's largest enterprises build, secure, and scale on Salesforce. This is not a maintenance role. You will own the product roadmap for the only 100% Salesforce-native DevSecOps, Data Protection, and Security platform trusted by Fortune 100 companies, global brands like Hilton, Cargill, Barry Callebaut, Cushman & Wakefield, and AARP. You will work directly with the CEO and engineering leadership to define and ship products that create entirely new categories within the Salesforce ecosystem. We are at an inflection point. AI-driven DevOps (powered by Agentforce), agent-aware governance, zero-trust security orchestration, and intelligent data lifecycle management are transforming the Salesforce landscape. We need a product leader who sees around corners, understands where this space is heading, and has the conviction and execution chops to get us there first.About FlosumFlosum is the only enterprise-grade DevOps, Data Backup & Archive, Trust Center, and Data Seeding platform built 100% native on the Salesforce platform. As a Salesforce Summit Partner and the only native solution certified by Salesforce, we operate within the Salesforce trust boundary, which means zero data exposure, no third-party cloud processing, and full compliance with Salesforce security standards. Our customers are among the most demanding in the world: Fortune 500 enterprises in regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, government, life sciences) who require SOX compliance, zero-trust architecture, and audit-grade governance. We compete against Copado, Gearset, AutoRABIT, and Salto, and we win because our native architecture delivers security, speed, and extensibility that external tools simply cannot match. We recently integrated Salesforce Agentforce into our platform, making Flosum the first and only Salesforce-native AI DevOps solution. This is just the beginning of what we plan to build. What You Will OwnProduct Vision & StrategyDefine and drive the multi-year product roadmap across Flosum's five product lines: DevOps, Backup & Archive, Trust Center, Data Seeding, and DevOps for Veeva.Identify whitespace opportunities in the Salesforce ecosystem where Flosum can create new categories or capture market share from competitors.Translate deep Salesforce platform knowledge (metadata architecture, deployment models, Agentforce, Data Cloud, multi-org environments) into product capabilities that enterprise customers will pay premium prices for.Stay ahead of Salesforce's own product direction (three releases per year) and position Flosum to capitalize on every platform shift.AI & InnovationLead the next wave of AI-powered DevOps capabilities built on Agentforce, including intelligent deployment agents, AI-driven code review, automated security scanning, and predictive release management.Define how Flosum's extensibility platform enables customers to build custom AI-driven workflows within Salesforce's trust boundary.Pioneer agent-aware governance: preparing Salesforce governance frameworks for autonomous systems and AI agents.Customer & Market InsightEngage directly with Fortune 500 customers and prospects to deeply understand their pain points around Salesforce development, security, compliance, and data management.Translate complex enterprise requirements (SOX, zero-trust, multi-org, regulated industries) into elegant product solutions.Partner with Sales and Customer Success to influence deal strategy, conduct product demos for strategic accounts, and close competitive evaluations.Execution & DeliveryWrite detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. You do the work, not just delegate it.Partner with engineering to deliver on aggressive timelines. Own sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and release coordination.Define and track product KPIs: adoption, activation, expansion, NPS, competitive win rates. Who You AreWe are looking for a missionary, not a mercenary. Someone who takes genuine ownership of outcomes, thinks independently, and is driven by a need to build something that matters, not just advance their career.7+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, with at least 3 years focused on the Salesforce ecosystem or Salesforce-adjacent platforms.Deep technical understanding of the Salesforce platform: metadata-driven architecture, deployment pipelines, sandboxes, packaging, security models, Apex, Lightning, and the ISV partner ecosystem.Proven track record of shipping products that enterprise customers (Fortune 500, regulated industries) adopted and paid for. Not features; products.Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, release management, or security/compliance tooling is strongly preferred. You understand the competitive landscape: Copado, Gearset, AutoRABIT, Salto, and native Salesforce DX. You know where each is strong and where they are vulnerable.Strong perspective on how AI/ML (especially Salesforce Agentforce, Einstein, Data Cloud) will reshape the Salesforce development and governance landscape.Hands-on executor. You write PRDs, you talk to customers, you review wireframes, you sit in sprint reviews. You do not manage from a distance.Exceptional communication skills. You can present a product vision to a C-suite audience and write a technical specification for an engineering team in the same day.Intellectual curiosity and a bias toward action. Job description
Headquarters: Remote / Canada Build something people loveWealthsimple is on a mission to help everyone achieve financial freedom by reimagining what it means to manage your money. Using smart technology, we take financial services that are often confusing and expensive and make them transparent and low-cost for everyone. We’re the largest fintech company in Canada, with 3+ million users who trust us with more than $100 billion in assets. And we’re just getting started. We’re looking for someone who thinks big, sweats the small stuff and keeps things simple. You’ll join a high-bar, fast-paced team where people are trusted to own their work, communicate openly, and ship things that improve our clients’ lives. Collaboration, humility, and an obsession over quality are how we get stuff done. This team sits at the operational core of Wealthsimple. We build the analytical foundation that powers how client activity is recorded, validated, executed, and reported across the business. Our work spans three closely connected domains:Book of Record The authoritative historical record of all client financial activity. These datasets power virtually every client-facing metric at Wealthsimple. At our scale, small design decisions have outsized downstream impact.Ledger Operations The internal systems and analytics that ensure the ledger is accurate, explainable, and trusted. This work partners closely with operations and CX teams to investigate issues, validate outcomes, and continuously improve data quality.Brokerage, Capital Markets & Regulatory (BCMR) The back office of the trading platform. This includes datasets related to market maker interactions, brokerage feeds, margin, options, futures, and regulatory and compliance reporting. Accuracy and traceability here are non-negotiable.The problems are interconnected and the data is shared. We’re hiring a Senior Analytics Developer to join the Brokerage & Ledger Product Data Science team. As a Senior Analytics Developer, you may work primarily in one of these areas, but the role is intentionally broad. You’ll own complex analytical datasets end-to-end, from raw inputs to well-designed, well-documented models that are trusted by product, operations, finance, and regulatory partners. You’ll be expected to operate with high autonomy, shape technical direction, and raise the bar for how analytics work is done.In this role you will:Design, build, and maintain high-quality analytical data models that support core brokerage and ledger workflows.Own critical datasets that power client-facing metrics, operational decision-making, and regulatory reporting.Work with large, complex, and often imperfect data sources, making trade-offs explicit and outcomes reliable.Partner closely with product managers, engineers, operations, finance, compliance, and CX teams to understand stakeholder needs and translate them into durable data solutions.Take a product-minded approach to analytics: designing datasets for clarity, usability, and long-term maintainability, not just correctness.Establish and uphold standards for data quality, testing, documentation, and observability.Use automation and modern tooling to reduce manual work and increase confidence in outputs.Apply AI-assisted workflows thoughtfully to improve speed, quality, or insight generation, and clearly articulate where and why they add value.Mentor and support other analytics developers through design reviews, code reviews, and informal coaching.Communicate complex data concepts clearly, helping partners understand not just what the data says, but how to use it.Role requirements:Demonstrated experience working with large, complex analytical datasets in a production environment.Strong SQL skills and experience building analytical models or data marts that are consumed by others.Product-oriented mindset with a focus on data usability, consistency, and long-term ownership.Experience collaborating with non-technical stakeholders and translating ambiguous questions into concrete analytical work.Familiarity with modern analytics tooling such as dbt, Airflow, Python, and cloud data warehouses (e.g. Redshift, Snowflake). Deep expertise in every tool is not required.Experience applying AI tools or techniques to analytics or data engineering workflows, with the ability to explain the impact clearly.Comfort working in regulated or high-stakes environments where correctness, auditability, and trust matter.Experience in financial services, trading, or accounting is a plus, but not a requirement.Compensation & Equity Base salary range: For this role, candidates located in Canada can expect a base salary range of CAD $151,200 - $189,000. Actual compensation is determined based on skills, experience, and role level.
