Job description
Headquarters: United States
URL: https://www.workiva.com/latam/
Workiva is looking for a Principal Experience Designer to shape the visual future of Unify, our enterprise design system. Unify powers the components, patterns, templates, accessibility standards, and shared experiences used across Workiva’s B2B platform.
This is a dual-focus principal role. Roughly 60–70% of your time will be spent leading Unify’s visual design direction: evolving its visual language, shaping token architecture, and creating the reference designs and guidance that help teams build consistently. The remaining 30–40% will focus on high-visibility visual work for major conferences, marketing partnerships, and executive audiences. That work is not separate from the system, it’s part of the broader ecosystem of design in which Unify lives.
You will bring exceptional visual craft, strong systems thinking, and a practical point of view on how design systems need to evolve for AI-assisted design and prototyping.
What you’ll do
Define and evolve Unify’s visual language across typography, color, spacing, iconography, motion, and brand expression.
Partner with the components sub-team and the patterns and templates sub-team to ensure visual design is applied consistently and intentionally across every asset.
Partner with product design, product mgmt and engineering teams to ensure product experience decisions translate faithfully from system to production.
Maintain a scalable, semantic token architecture that supports consistent experiences across products and over time.
Create and maintain a library of reference designs, full-screen examples that demonstrate how Unify should be applied in real product experiences.
Own visual usage guidance and documentation that make intended use, constraints, and quality standards clear for designers, engineers, and AI-assisted workflows.
Establish ongoing evaluation of AI-generated designs and prototypes, using what you learn to strengthen tokens, examples, and guidance before inconsistencies reach product teams.
Lead visual design for select high-stakes moments, including major conferences, executive presentations, product vision work, and marketing partnerships.
Coach designers and influence cross-functional partners through high-quality feedback, clear principles, and strong visual storytelling.
What you’ll need
Minimum Qualifications
10+ years of experience in product design, visual design, UX, or related fields, including significant work on platform or enterprise products.
Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field (or 8 years of experience and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 6 years of experience).
Preferred Qualifications
A portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual craft and the ability to translate a visual point of view into scalable product systems.
Hands-on experience with AI-assisted design or prototyping workflows, with a clear perspective on their opportunities and limitations.
Experience defining or evolving a design system’s visual language, including tokens, components, patterns, and documentation.
Strong ability to create compelling product narratives for senior leaders and high-visibility audiences.
Experience partnering closely with engineers and working through the tradeoffs between design intent, system health, and implementation.
A track record of influencing and coaching teams without relying on formal authority.
Experience building reference sites, design-system documentation, or machine-readable design guidance.
Experience with semantic or multi-tier token systems, motion design, presentation design, or event experiences.
Background in front-end development, developer tools, cross-platform systems, or highly regulated industries.
Travel Requirements & Working Conditions
Up to 20-25% travel required to meet with teams, partners, and customers
Reliable internet connection required for remote or hybrid work environments
How You’ll Be Rewarded
✅ Salary range in the US: $190,000.00 - $315,000.00
✅ A discretionary bonus typically paid annually
✅ Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire
✅ 401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits package
The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and other relevant factors.

Scale our distribution by code: a fleet of real devices, iPhones first and Android too, plus platform APIs and AI agents, posting across many accounts and surfaces. You work directly with the founder.
Most content gets made and then dies at a few hundred views, because getting it out is still done by hand: a person, a phone, a few accounts. We want it engineered: iPhone and Android device automation at scale, platform APIs and agents posting across many accounts and surfaces, every link tracked. If you would rather build that fleet than tap through posts one at a time, read on.
Vertex Marketing Group builds AI creators and makes the content for real ones. Your job is to get that content out at a volume no team could post by hand, and keep the machine running. You own the outcome.
What you'll do
• Build and run the device fleet that posts by code: iPhones first, Android too, real devices and cloud phones
• Publish across Instagram, TikTok, X, Reddit and Threads through platform APIs plus device and browser automation, hundreds of posts a day
• Automate account health and posting cadence: every account checked every morning by code, problems caught before they cost reach
• Put agents to work on the pipeline: Claude Code and MCPs handling captions, scheduling, health checks and recovery
• Track every link: which account, post and surface sent each click, and what it turned into
Requirements
• You have built and run posting automation across 100+ accounts, and you can show it running
• You have automated iPhones or other iOS devices (and/or Android, cloud phones) that run unattended
• You work with platform APIs plus browser and mobile automation, with queues and scheduling
• You run pipelines with Claude Code, MCPs and agents
• Clear written English at minimum, perfect is better. Based in Europe or Latin America

Job description
Headquarters: Remote, US, Ohio
Celonis is the trusted platform to industrialize Enterprise AI. At our core is the Celonis Context Model — which combines process data, business knowledge, and intelligence into a living digital twin of the enterprise that AI can actually understand, turning AI's operational blind spots into operational clarity. World's leading companies trust Celonis and its global ecosystem of partners to make their AI agents, people, systems, and processes work together, achieving transformational outcomes. We believe there's a massive opportunity to unlock global productivity and sustainability by giving AI the context to understand how every business process really works. Join our mission to make processes work for people, companies, and the planet. The Opportunity
We are seeking an established consulting leader—a current Big Four Director, Managing Director, or Partner-track Senior Manager—to spearhead our highest-stakes Energy & Utilities engagements. In this executive-level role, you will serve as the principal strategic architect for our most valuable power, gas, and renewable energy accounts globally.
Leveraging the Celonis Process Intelligence platform, you will bridge the gap between macro energy sector strategies and modern cloud/AI execution models, moving clients from slide decks to realized operational value.
The Impact You’ll Make
1. C-Suite Advisory & Value Architecture
Peer-to-Peer Advisory: Partner directly with utility C-suite executives (CEOs, COOs, CFOs, Chief Sustainability Officers) to align macro pressures—decarbonization, grid modernization, and capital reallocation—with execution-level transformation roadmaps.
Map Enterprise Digital Twins: Oversee the deployment of the Celonis Process Intelligence Graph to build systemic, end-to-end operational models of complex utility enterprises.
Orchestrate $100M+ Business Cases: Direct the formulation of board-ready Celonis Value Assessments, delivering the economic justification, working capital improvements, and OPEX returns required to greenlight massive cloud and Edge AI investments.
2. Transformation Leadership & Ecosystem Governance
Steer Enterprise Transformations: Serve as the executive sponsor for high-visibility, Celonis-driven operating model overhauls for Fortune 500 E&U clients, guiding them from diagnostic discovery to closed-loop automation.
Architect Celonis Centers of Excellence (CoEs): Design and establish corporate-wide CoEs, defining the target operating models, governance structures, and enablement frameworks needed to embed data-driven decision-making into client cultures.
Untangle Systemic Friction: Lead cross-functional teams to resolve complex operational leakages where siloed utility stacks (SAP S/4HANA, IBM Maximo, ADMS/SCADA) collide—specifically optimizing capital procurement, field services, and energy settlement invoicing.
3. Commercial Growth & Scaled Innovation
De-Risk High-Value Sales Cycles: Convert complex regulatory mandates (FERC, NERC) into automated, visual compliance audits within the Celonis platform, transforming abstract compliance risks into compelling business cases that accelerate C-suite sign-off.
Commercialize Next-Gen "Process + AI" Use Cases: Direct the integration of industrial telemetry (SCADA, Edge IoT) into Celonis, translating complex data structures into high-margin, executive-ready offerings like real-time storm response and predictive asset failure.
Productize Utility Value Plays: Codify repeatable client successes into scalable Celonis apps and action templates, establishing a library of industry-specific intellectual property that drives rapid time-to-value, net-new ARR, and account expansion.
The Profile We Are Looking For
Consulting Pedigree: 12+ years of progressive experience within a Big Four or elite management consulting firm, currently operating at the Director, Managing Director, or Partner level.
E&U Vertical Expertise: Deep, authoritative knowledge of the Energy & Utilities sector (Grid Operations, Transmission & Distribution, Generation, or Retail), with a track record of leading multi-million-dollar transformation programs.
SaaS & Process Intelligence Vision: Strong conceptual understanding of Process Mining paradigms. Experience with Celonis is highly advantageous, but a proven ability to leverage enterprise software to reshape business processes is required.
Architectural Fluency: Comprehensive understanding of the modern enterprise stack (SAP, Oracle, Maximo) and emerging data/AI paradigms (Azure AI, LLMs). Note: You do not need to write code or SQL queries, but you must possess the technical fluency to direct data scientists, engineers, and solution architects.
Commercial Acumen: Proven capability in client origination, relationship management, and driving account growth through value-based selling.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems. An MBA from a top-tier business school is highly preferred.
Visa sponsorship is not offered for this role. What Celonis can offer you:
Pioneer Innovation: Work with the global leader in Process Mining and the Process Intelligence Graph to shape the future of AI-driven business operations.
Ownership from Day 1: Every full-time "Celonaut" is an owner, receiving Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) and merit-based refresh grants.
Unrivaled Family Support: Benefit from our inclusive parental leave policy—24 weeks of fully paid leave for primary carers and 12 weeks for supporting carers, available from your first day of employment.
Work-Life Integration: Enjoy Unlimited PTO (in applicable regions) and generous PTO globally, as well as a flexible hybrid work model that balances remote focus with vibrant office collaboration.
Continuous Growth: Elevate your skills through our 70-20-10 learning framework, mentorship programs, and access to a dedicated learning platform.
Holistic Well-being: Prioritize your health with subsidized Wellhub memberships, mental health counseling, and dedicated "Wellness Weeks" that prioritize work/life balance.
Drive Sustainability: Participate in annual Impact Days, where you receive paid time off to volunteer for community and environmental causes with your local office, or virtually.

The company is regularly cited by leading global outlets — including The Economist, Bloomberg, The Wall Street Journal, NPR, ABC News, and Harvard Business Review — as a leading voice on digital health, the future of work, and family health. Learn more at get-carrot.com.The Opportunity
Carrot is looking for a Director, Information Security to lead the security program that protects the highly sensitive fertility and family-building data of members around the world. You will set the security strategy, own both corporate security (GRC, incident response, security awareness, vendor risk) and product security (application, cloud and infrastructure security, secure development lifecycle), and serve as the trusted voice on Carrot's security posture with executives, auditors, and enterprise customers.
Day to day, you will balance setting direction with staying close to the work: prioritizing risk with Engineering and IT, guiding audit and certification cycles, coaching a small and talented team, and joining customer conversations where security is part of the buying decision. Carrot has already earned SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA, HITRUST, and PCI DSS compliance, so this role is about taking a strong foundation to the next level of maturity, not starting from scratch.
What makes this role different is the combination of stakes and influence. Few security leaders get to protect data this personal, at global scale, while working directly with executive leadership and shaping how a health platform is built, sold, and trusted.
What You’ll Own
In this role, you will:
Lead Carrot's security strategy and roadmap, using a recognized maturity model (such as C2M2 or NIST CSF) to prioritize investments and report progress to executive leadership
Own the full security program across corporate security (GRC, incident management, security awareness, third-party risk) and product security (application security, cloud and infrastructure security, secure SDLC)
Partner with Engineering, especially the Internal Platform team, to build security into how Carrot designs, ships, and operates its systems, going beyond compliance
Lead internal risk assessments across application, cloud, and corporate environments and turn the results into prioritized technical safeguards
Own the compliance portfolio, including SOC 2 Type II, HITRUST, PCI DSS, and HIPAA, and prepare Carrot for additional frameworks such as ISO 27001 as the business requires
Direct incident response readiness, including playbooks, tabletop exercises, executive communication, and post-incident learning
Represent Carrot's security posture to employers, health plans, and health systems through security reviews, questionnaires, and strategic sales conversations
Work with Legal and Privacy to meet global data protection requirements (HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA/CPRA) for member health data
Build, coach, and grow the security team, balancing hands-on execution with delegation as the team scales
Manage the security budget, tooling, and vendor relationships, and tailor security guidance for a remote-first workforce and physical offices
What Success Looks Like
In your first 12–18 months, you will have:
A documented, executive-endorsed security strategy and multi-year roadmap with clear priorities, owners, and measures of progress
Clean outcomes on recurring audits and certifications (SOC 2 Type II, HITRUST, PCI DSS), with remediation items closed on schedule
A tested incident response program, with regular tabletop exercises completed and lessons learned built back into the program
A measurable reduction in high-risk vulnerabilities and open security findings, with remediation timelines agreed on with Engineering
A living risk register and vendor security review process that leaders rely on to make decisions
A security team with defined roles, clear growth paths, and the right capacity for Carrot's growth, including key hires made
Faster, more consistent security reviews for Sales and Customer Success, with fewer escalations from enterprise customers
A clear plan, and visible progress, on any additional frameworks the business prioritizes, such as ISO 27001
About You
You likely have:
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
10+ years of experience in technology, including 5+ years in information security and at least 3 years leading security teams
A security certification such as CISSP or CISM
Experience leading the security function at a late-stage startup, scale-up, or public company
Working depth in healthcare data protection and privacy frameworks, including HIPAA, GDPR, and CCPA/CPRA
Experience overseeing enterprise frameworks and audits such as SOC 2 Type II, HITRUST, PCI DSS, and ISO 27001
Strong knowledge of application, network, and cloud security (AWS and Azure) and frameworks such as NIST CSF and OWASP
Experience running core security programs, including incident response, risk management, vulnerability management, penetration testing, and security awareness
Executive-level communication skills and confidence engaging customers and sales teams on security requirements
Experience managing budget and allocating resources across people, tools, and vendors
Nice to Have ⭐
While not required, we would be especially excited if you bring:
Experience leading security through a major company event such as an IPO, acquisition, or large-scale audit cycle
A background in healthcare, digital health, or another highly regulated, high-trust environment
Experience leading security in a remote-first, globally distributed company
Familiarity with compliance automation platforms such as Drata
Experience building a security engineering practice alongside platform and infrastructure teams
Why This Role Matters
Members trust Carrot with some of the most personal information a person can share, often during some of the most meaningful moments of their lives. Protecting that trust is not a back-office function. It is what allows employers, health plans, and health systems to bring Carrot to millions of people worldwide.
As Carrot grows, security leadership shapes how we build, how we sell, and how we show up for customers. In this role, you will make security a strength that members and customers can see and rely on, and build a team that keeps raising the bar as the business scales.

Job description
Headquarters: Remote, US, Texas
We are seeking an established consulting leader—a current Big Four Director, Managing Director, or Partner-track Senior Manager—to spearhead our highest-stakes Oil & Gas engagements. In this executive-level role, you will serve as the principal strategic architect for our most valuable Upstream, Midstream, Downstream, and LNG accounts globally.
Leveraging the Celonis Process Intelligence platform, you will bridge the gap between macro energy transition strategies and modern cloud/AI execution models, moving clients from slide decks to realized operational value.
The Impact You’ll Make
C-Suite Advisory & Value Architecture
Peer-to-Peer Advisory: Partner directly with Oil & Gas C-suite executives (CEOs, COOs, CFOs, Chief Sustainability Officers) to align macro pressures—capital discipline, decarbonization, yield optimization, and supply chain volatility—with execution-level transformation roadmaps.
Map Enterprise Digital Twins: Oversee the deployment of the Celonis Process Intelligence Graph to build systemic, end-to-end operational models of complex oilfield, pipeline, or refining enterprises.
Orchestrate $100M+ Business Cases: Direct the formulation of board-ready Celonis Value Assessments, delivering the economic justification, working capital improvements, and OPEX returns required to greenlight massive cloud, IoT, and Edge AI investments.
Transformation Leadership & Ecosystem Governance
Steer Enterprise Transformations: Serve as the executive sponsor for high-visibility, Celonis-driven operating model overhauls for Fortune 500 O&G clients, guiding them from diagnostic discovery to closed-loop automation.
Architect Celonis Centers of Excellence (CoEs): Design and establish corporate-wide CoEs, defining the target operating models, governance structures, and enablement frameworks needed to embed data-driven decision-making into client cultures.
Untangle Systemic Friction: Lead cross-functional teams to resolve complex operational leakages where siloed O&G stacks (SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, IBM Maximo, Hydrocarbon Accounting systems) collide—specifically optimizing mega-project capital procurement, asset turnaround management, and joint venture accounting.
Commercial Growth & Scaled Innovation
De-Risk High-Value Sales Cycles: Convert complex regulatory, environmental, and safety mandates (EPA, OSHA, BSEE, API standards) into automated, visual compliance audits within the Celonis platform, transforming abstract risk management into compelling business cases that accelerate C-suite sign-off.
Commercialize Next-Gen "Process + AI" Use Cases: Direct the integration of industrial telemetry (refinery IoT, pipeline SCADA, digital oilfield data) into Celonis, translating complex data structures into high-margin, executive-ready offerings like predictive asset integrity and real-time carbon intensity tracking.
Productize Oil & Gas Value Plays: Codify repeatable client successes into scalable Celonis apps and action templates, establishing a library of industry-specific intellectual property that drives rapid time-to-value, net-new ARR, and account expansion.
The Profile We Are Looking For
Consulting Pedigree: 12+ years of progressive experience within a Big Four or elite management consulting firm, currently operating at the Director, Managing Director, or Partner level.
O&G Vertical Expertise: Deep, authoritative knowledge of the Oil & Gas sector (Upstream exploration/production, Midstream logistics, Downstream refining/petrochemicals, or LNG), with a track record of leading multi-million-dollar transformation programs.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Chemical, or Industrial preferred), Computer Science, or Information Systems.
Global Inclusion & Belonging: Find community through our Inclusion Think Tank and participate in our annual Inclusion Days, ensuring every voice is heard and valued.

Your mantra is #alwaysbeprospecting: The world of operations is vast. Your customers are often out in the field and the best way to catch them is live on the phone. Samsara’s top reps do constant research to find companies and contacts to expand their pipeline.
You have innate curiosity in how businesses work: One day you’ll meet with someone in waste management and the next you may be learning about the inner workings of a food distribution center. Our top sales team members seek to learn the ins and outs of the businesses they support in order to make a larger impact.
You are a life-long learner: Samsara sales are complex. You will need to learn about businesses where you previously had little knowledge. The payoff is big but you have to be willing to put in the work.
You build genuine relationships with your customers: The industries we serve have relied on pen-and-paper solutions for years and haven’t been met with the type of technology we offer. Our customers value earned trust and human relationships built over time.
You want to be with the best: Samsara’s high-performance Sales culture means you’ll be surrounded by the best and challenged to go farther than you have before.
In this role, you will:
Own customer engagements end-to-end, from prospecting and qualification to close.
Generate pipeline through strategic outbound prospecting, as well as receive inbound leads from our account development team.
Target accounts with 11-30 vehicles.
Experience handling and owning transactional sales process with high volume demands.
Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices.

1+ years of experience in a closing sales role
An ideal candidate has:
Proven track record of consistent quota achievement
Experience selling in the commercial space - small to medium deals sizes
Experience with high-volume cold calling
Experience in fast-paced, transactional sales
Must demonstrate a growth mindset and a willingness to be collaborative with your teammates and in your selling process

About the role
You'll own the data layer underneath InsightsOS and EngageOS, the products that turn booking, CRM, ad, and financial data from multi-location brands into proactive insights and automated actions. Today that layer is built and maintained by our product lead alongside two full-stack engineers. We need someone who owns it end to end: architecture, modeling, pipelines, and the analytical models on top. You'll report to our product lead and work directly with the founder.
Compensation: $45–60K plus revenue-share bonus (we profit share every month)
What you'll do
Design and own the semantic layer and aggregation architecture across clients with 2 to 250 locations each.
Build and maintain pipelines from sources like Mindbody, Zenoti, Boulevard, Mariana Tek, Domo, QuickBooks Online, GA4, Google Ads, Meta, and Klaviyo.
Develop trend, utilization, and propensity models that power proactive insights and lifecycle triggers.

Bonus: multi-location, franchise, or subscription business data; marketing or CRM integrations; multi-tenant SaaS.
Why this role
Full ownership of a product vertical, not a ticket queue.
Small team, direct impact, your models show up in client revenue within weeks.

When integrations or troubleshooting challenges arise, you work to resolve them, escalating to senior team members when needed.
Your success is measured by technical value realization within your accounts: adoption metrics, time-to-value, customer technical health scores, and your contribution to retention outcomes alongside your CSM partners. You work with enterprise accounts where the technical complexity and investment level warrant dedicated technical advisory support.
What Expel can do for you
Extend your network of security leaders across a wide variety of industries

Deepen your expertise in the security market, and in particular security operations
Set you up to flex your consultative risk management and security strategy muscles

Build deep technical relationships with security practitioners, architects, and technical leaders who influence platform adoption and integration decisions
Advise customers on security program improvements, detection strategies, and how to get more value from their technology investments
Help customers mature their use of Expel over time, expanding integrations and optimizing their configuration. Provide technical content and support for CSM-led quarterly business reviews
Handle troubleshooting and integration challenges, partnering with TSEs, Detection & Response, Engineering, and Product teams as needed; escalate complex issues to senior TAMs
Own technical incident response coordination with customers, managing the technical aspects of security incidents while CSMs handle executive communication
Identify technical expansion opportunities (new integrations, additional coverage)
Support and learn from more senior team members on the most complex technical challenges
What you should bring with you
5+ years of security industry experience, majority in consultative customer-facing roles
Deep technical expertise in two or more security product spaces (EDR, NDR, SIEM, Cloud security, IAM, etc.) and associated detection strategies
Experience in customer-facing technical roles (solutions engineering, professional services, technical consulting). Understanding of enterprise security operations and the challenges security teams face
Strong consultative skills; leads with listening, understands customer context before recommending solutions. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to varied audiences, from SOC analysts to security directors

Headquarters: Remote
Are you looking for a role where you're critical to every part of the business? Do you want to help ensure that our teams deliver software so that our analysts can deliver service to our customers? How about being a crucial part of making sure our internal teams operate efficiently?
You're not afraid of new technology. In fact, you love diving in and figuring out how it works. Whether it's a successful launch or a few bumps in the road, you're always up for a challenge. Balancing multiple projects at once is no easy feat, but when everything clicks into place, there's nothing quite like that sense of satisfaction.
The best part of the job? Seeing someone use a capability you've built and hearing them exclaim, "Wow, I can't believe how easy that was." You care about the success of your colleagues and take pride in helping them achieve it.
As a cloud-based IT organization, we're breaking the traditional mold and thinking creatively about how we can make the day-to-day life of our employees simple. We're always looking for innovative solutions, and we need someone with the wit and determination to help us achieve our goals.
In this role, you'll keep Expel's IT infrastructure and services secure and highly available, from our cloud platforms all the way down to the equipment in our conference rooms. You'll manage access across the employee lifecycle, own large cross-functional projects from beginning to end, and take manual work out of how we operate before anyone feels the friction. It's based onsite at our Herndon, Virginia headquarters, so you'll also be the person who makes sure the technology people walk up and touch works exactly like it should.
If you're up for the challenge, we want to hear from you!
What Expel Can Do For You
Provide the autonomy to define problems and propose solutions.
Deliver never-ending opportunities to tackle business problems.
Give you real ownership of large cross-functional projects, end to end.
Surround you with a team of problem solvers.
Ensure you get support, mentoring, and feedback to make you successful.
What You Can Do For Expel
Manage and maintain IT systems in a cloud first environment.
Provide friendly and unflappable technical support.
Make sure new hires have the accounts, access, and hardware they need on day one, and that access goes away promptly when people leave.
Be the point of contact for the systems and services you own.
Own large cross-functional projects from beginning to end.
Collaborate with multi-functional teams to identify integration issues, solve errors, and optimize performance.
Proactively find opportunities for improvement and build automations that streamline operations and reduce manual work.
Apply AI tooling, like Claude and Gemini, to accelerate day-to-day work.
Manage IT-owned technology at Expel's HQ, including network equipment, conference room and AV equipment, kiosk computers, and other shared-space systems.
Keep people in the loop on service disruptions and changes.
Work alongside our security team to protect our information.
Contribute to the team's roadmap and work in two week sprints against quarterly and yearly goals.
Build and routinely update documentation on automations, configurations, and operating procedures.
What You Should Bring With You
Proficiency managing core enterprise SaaS products such as Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft 365.
Experience automating tasks and integrating systems using platforms like Workato, Okta Workflows, or Microsoft Power Automate.
Experience with AI platforms like Anthropic Claude and Google Gemini, including prompt engineering and connecting systems through emerging standards like the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
Knowledge of concepts like SAML, OIDC, SCIM, REST APIs, webhooks, JWT, and OAuth 2.0.
Knowledge of programming and scripting languages like Python, Bash, PowerShell, and Ruby.
macOS and Windows operating system administration skills, including experience with MDMs like Jamf and Intune.
Familiarity with conference room AV and shared-space technology, like Zoom Rooms and Neat devices.
Knowledge of Cisco Meraki and basic networking concepts like VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and wireless networking.
Strong project management skills, especially on large cross-functional projects.
Capacity to balance a mix of urgent, interrupt-driven tasks and project-level work.
Excellent customer service and communication skills, written and verbal, with a habit of treating colleagues like customers.
Adept at translating technical concepts and communicating to non-technical audiences.
Outstanding problem solving abilities, with a desire to get to the root of sophisticated issues.
Well-versed in IT operations best practices.
5+ years of professional experience with IT, 2+ of which were in an engineering or sysadmin capacity.
A college degree or credible panache.
Additional Notes
This is a fully remote role open to candidates anywhere in the U.S. While proximity to our Herndon, Virginia headquarters is a plus for occasional onsite needs, it is not required.
The base salary range for this role is between $93,900 USD and $136,200 USD + bonus eligibility and equity. While the full salary band reflects our long-term compensation framework, we're primarily targeting candidates between $105,000 and $125,000 based on experience, skills, and market data.
You’ll also be eligible for unlimited PTO (which we model and encourage), work location flexibility, up to 24 weeks of parental leave, and really excellent health benefits.
We’re only hiring those authorized to work in the United States. We do not currently sponsor immigration visas.
We're an Equal Opportunity Employer: You'll receive consideration for employment without regard to race, sex, color, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or on the basis of disability.
We’ll ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment. Please let us know if you need accommodation of any kind.

Job description
Headquarters: Remote (US)
About the Role
As a Freelance Marketo Email Specialist, you'll build, test, and launch email programs in Marketo for a range of client brands. This is a hands-on, execution-only contract role with no leadership or management responsibilities. You'll take approved briefs and turn them into working programs, building responsive templates and modules, setting up smart lists and flows, and making sure every send goes out right the first time. You know Marketo well enough to spot a broken token, a misfired trigger, or a segmentation gap before it reaches a subscriber. You'll take direction from our internal team, get up to speed fast, and deliver accurate builds on schedule with minimal oversight.
Key Responsibilities
Build and launch email programs in Marketo, including one-off sends, nurture streams, engagement programs, and triggered campaigns.
Develop and maintain responsive email templates and modular components in HTML and CSS, using Marketo's template syntax, variables, and editable sections.
Set up smart lists, smart campaigns, flow steps, and segmentations that match the targeting and logic in the brief.
Use tokens, dynamic content, and snippets to personalize emails and keep programs easy to clone and reuse.
QA every email before launch: rendering across clients and devices (e.g. Litmus or Email on Acid), links, tokens, personalization fallbacks, and list logic.
Manage program structure, naming conventions, and folder organization so client instances stay clean and easy to navigate.
Build to the brief and requirements provided, and flag any gaps or errors in the request before they become problems in the send.
Communicate status, timelines, and blockers clearly with your internal point of contact.
Document builds and processes so other team members can pick up, update, or reuse the work.
Follow established Marketo, deliverability, and accessibility standards on every build.
Qualifications
Required
At least 3 years of hands-on experience building and deploying email campaigns in Marketo Engage.
Strong working knowledge of Marketo programs, smart lists, smart campaigns, tokens, snippets, and dynamic content.
Proficiency in HTML and CSS for email, including responsive and hybrid coding and Marketo template syntax.
Experience with email rendering and QA tools such as Litmus or Email on Acid.
A detail-oriented QA process that catches errors in logic, links, and personalization before launch.
Experience working across multiple clients or Marketo instances, adapting quickly to different setups and conventions.
Clear, proactive communication, including flagging risks early and giving accurate time estimates.
Ability to work independently, take direction well, and hit deadlines across overlapping requests.
Preferred
Marketo Certified Expert or Marketo Certified Associate.
Familiarity with email deliverability, authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), and list hygiene.
Experience with email accessibility standards (e.g. WCAG).
Experience with lead scoring, lifecycle programs, and Marketo–Salesforce CRM sync.
Experience with other marketing automation platforms (e.g. Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Braze).
Agency or consulting experience.

About Flexport:
At Flexport, we believe global trade can move the human race forward. That’s why it’s our mission to make global commerce so easy there will be more of it. The recent global supply chain crisis has put Flexport center stage as we continue to play a pivotal role in how goods move around the world. We are proud to have the support of the best investors in the game who believe in our mission, solutions and people. Ready to tackle global challenges that impact business, society, and the environment? Come join us.What you'll do
There is no MSSP and no tier-1 queue here. Detection & Response engineers own their detections end to end: you write them, you tune them, and your team is paged when they fire. The security team is spread across the globe with a follow-the-sun pager rotation so nobody is paged at 3am local.
The adversaries are real. The business is growing fast and the threat surface is growing with it. Defining the necessary telemetry is part of the job.
Detection engineering
Build and tune detections across endpoint, identity, SaaS, and cloud, treating them as software: version-controlled, peer-reviewed, and shipped through the same CI/CD practices the rest of engineering uses.
Track detection quality as measured quantities: coverage against MITRE ATT&CK, precision, time-to-detect. We don’t build-and-forget here.
Response & automation
Own incident response: triage, contain, remediate, and write the retrospective that turns the incident into a systemic fix.
Build automation that removes toil from investigations, and partner closely with the US-based team so context carries across time zones instead of getting lost at handoff.
Telemetry & partnership
Define telemetry requirements for new systems before they ship, working with infrastructure and product teams to close visibility gaps rather than discovering them during an incident.
Threat hunt proactively across the estate, converting hypotheses into either new detections or documented coverage.
You Should Have
Typically 5–8 years of experience in detection engineering, incident response, or threat hunting, with real hands-on time writing and tuning detections. We care more about what you've built than the exact number.
Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Go, or similar) and comfort writing production-grade detection and automation code.
Experience with a modern SIEM or detection pipeline (Panther, Elastic, Splunk, or similar). What matters is that you've shipped and tuned detection logic in production.
Practical incident response experience: you've led or played a major role in triaging and closing out real security incidents.
Nice to have
Experience treating detections as code with CI/CD, peer review, and staged rollout.
Experience defining telemetry contracts for systems before they ship, rather than retrofitting logging after an incident.
A track record of critically evaluating and verifying AI-assisted work - testing, source-checking, validation - rather than trusting agent output by default. If you haven’t already spotted the em dashes in this job description and already thought about where the hiring manager (hi!) has put hands on keyboard and compared that to where they let the LLM watermarks through, you might not be the right person for the job.
Familiarity with cloud-native and Kubernetes telemetry.
Experience with fraud or financial-crime detection patterns.
How we work
We stay closely aligned with teammates on other continents via Slack, video, and async docs.
We have the latest hardware and software, including frontier AI models on day one.
We're agile, but not dogmatic. Teams decide how they work best.
Why this role is special
You own your detections end to end, no MSSP, no tier-1 queue, no handing your work to someone else to triage.
The consequences here are physical, not abstract: a containment decision can stop a customs filing or freight actually moving, which makes the stakes concrete in a way a SaaS control plane rarely is.
You'll inherit a real, established estate with legacy telemetry gaps to close, genuinely underexplored surface area, not a well-mined problem.
